The MSM is apparently mistaking Bush supporters for Kerry supporters.

We don't fall for that crap.

What a buch of jerks they are.

Please get a grip or take up knitting.

lol. We need to be prepared for a long week of MSM "Bad News for Bush." Its the shrill cry of a dying liberal MSM supporting the Kerry Candidacy, because they just know GW's gonna kick Kerry's arse on election day.

And we thought tomorrow's big story was going to be hurting Kerry.

We? You got a mouse in your pocket? :-)

Why would the MSM start in now on Kerry?

Look for WaPo to pound the President every day until election. A drudge teaser mentioned they have a Abu Ghraib diary which they will dribble out this week.

Uh no any attacks on our soldiers will be blamed on the terrorists, as it should be.

BTW, welcome to FR, newbie troll.

After reading the article link

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/index-old.php

you posted, (quote) "Not only are these super-high-yield explosives... these particular explosives are ones used in the triggering process for nuclear weapons."

I think the question needs to be posed to the IAEA, the UN Weapon Inspectors, The UN which was not enforcing the sanctions and the Truce agreement Saddam agreed to after the Gulf War, and Bill Clinton;

"What were 350 tons of these high explosives (RDX and HMX),doing in Iraq in the first place??????"

Hey Blix and UN WMD Inspectors, Bill Clinton, Senator-Candidates Kerry and Edwards, and the whole U.S. Congress read this..."these explosives are the ones used in the triggering process for nuclear weapons."

And I don't care whether they were under IAEA seal while Saddam was in power or not. The last time the IAEA was in Iraq was when, 1998? Not it seems the U.S. Congress in 1998 was giving both Hussein and Clinton a pass! Need I ask again, what were these explosives doing in Iraq at the start of the war?

If the NYTimes breaks this story, will no one ask these questions above.

I am staying calm. Yes I am smoking a pack of cigarettes a day and washing them down with a pot of coffee. I am popping Alka Selzer as if it were Pez candies, and I the only way I can sleep is with Tylenol PM. But I am calm.

Free Republic and another board has been my refuge.

The trolls are very annoying though.

So the KLA connection to the Kerry campaign (videotape of Wes Clark, Holbrooke et al) and all the $$$ is NOT going to be the surprise announcement?

I don't know. Do you? I was trying to be nice and at the same time point out the sudden influx of 'newbies'.

This wouldn't be the Chris Nelson (Michael Moore divided by two) piece, would it?

"If there is a surge in attacks on our forces in Iraq before the election - that would be horrible. Horrible for our soldiers, their families, our allies and the cause in Iraq, plus it would be blamed on Bush.

That's not a good story for Bush. No the sky is not falling, but if a few hundred of our soldiers die in a few days that will be devastating."

Are you hoping this will be the case? Go back to DU.

This is an attempt to show that Bush wasn't guarding the weapons. Ooops, uh, there weren't supposed to BE any bad weapons, so Kerry will now flip flop and say that he said there WERE weapons before he said there were NO weapons, and, anyhow, he would have guarded them better.

And you're here on FR. Can you say that for how many others? None of this is about truth! It's about perception. If doubt about the President's ability to protect the nation causes a 2% shift in the vote the President can lose.Do you think the DNC or the Times cares a whit if this story is true. By the time it's vetted the election is over. If this story is so old and so untrue as to be bovine excrement then Rove et. al. should have one hellacious counterattack in place, even before the Times hits the streets in 2 hours.

I agree, what troubles me is that the CIA may have set-up the Bush administration from the get go on Irak to discredit them since the Bush WH wanted to revamp the CIA top to bottom after 911. An entrenched bureaucracy will stop at nothing to survive including treachery to it's own nation. Leon Trotsky who coined the term "bureaucracy" warned about it before being killed by the russian secret service in mexico.
Has the CIA become a political instrument controlled by left-over of the Clinton years?
Sometimes the conclusions I reach from what I read unsettles me.

Sure it's bad...in that the NYTimes and all the MSM & all Kerry/DNC mouthpieces will be spinning & echoing this for days. Unguarded HE used to kill American soldiers, etc.

For how long they can stretch it out, I don't know.

The WH better have a solid response on what will undoubtedly be called a "coverup".
