What's the story here other than as a way to bash Bush? In a country awash with HE, some HE was left unguarded in the early hours of the war and -- guess what? It got looted along with everything else not tied down. It's not news.

For all we know our Special Forces took it to keep it out of the hands of the Iraqis.

"350 tons of explosives looted from some arms dump in Iraq"? That's not a small pile of explosives.

My guess, is that if there really 350 tons of stuff removed from Iraq, it was done in trucks going to Syria right before the war. I'm sure that the NY Times will not be dependent on any actual facts to make their case.

Since this is common knowledge, I don't see why we need to get worked up about it. Does anyone truly believe that the terrorists over there are taking the time to sit around to build their weapons and bombs? Of course not -- they came from somewhere.

This article solidifies the case of going to Iraq. I love "liberal logic." In fact, I hope they keep it up.
