KERRY ON BUSH 'UP IN THE AIR
Drudge ^ | 10/24/04 | Drudge

Boca Raton, FL - Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry issued the following statement today in response to the president's comment that it is "up in the air" if we will ever be fully safe:

"First, George W. Bush said we couldn't win the war on terror. Then he said we could. Now, in a new interview, in another moment of candor, George Bush said 'Whether or not we can be... fully safe ... is up in the air.'

"George W. Bush doubts whether he can make America safe. Well, I give you this pledge: As president, we will find, capture and kill the terrorists. It's not 'up in the air.' We will win the war on terror, and we will make America safer."

Kerry you stupid douchebag--so you can guarantee their won't be a single terrorist attack under the Carter II administration. What a pathetic, desperate pander.

And he will say, "GET OUT OF THAT WHEELCHAIR AND BE HOSTAGE TO IT NO MORE!" and so it shall be under Kerry.

I'm sure the quote was taken out of context by Reuters. Hannity is going to be way pissed tomorrow I'm sure if what I said is right. There is no way he said that and just let it drop. I'm sure he explained why he thought that.

The reason it's up in the air is because Bush is saying if Kerry is chosen as Prez, we're dead.

Two things...

1) We all know that no one can guarantee our safety without really throwing our rights out the window.

2) That was a dumb statement because there are many people who haven't figured out number 1

His promises and claims get more grandiose as election day nears. At this rate I expect him to claim to be the Messiah by 11/1.

Bush is being honest, while Kerry is lying through his teeth. Looks like SOP for both of them.

Bush meant it is dependent on who wins the election.

The reason it's "up in the air" has been stated by Bush over and over.

We have to be right 100 percent of the time, the terrorists only have to be right once.

And Kerry touting this statement hurts his own campaign, because everyone knows security is up in the air until 11/2.

Perfectly understandable. I'm at the end of my rope myself. How in the world could we ever endure this contemptible windbag for four years?

Kerry is such an idiot. he is walking into Bush's traps. If Kerry elected there will be firecrackers in Fallujah and Tehran of happiness and a surprise for the Gigolo during his Inauguration Ball. But don't count on it because on November 3rd, Gigolo will head over to Boston to plan his winter vacation.

Right. Kerry will wave his magic wand and return us to September 10th--right after he pulls Reeve out of the ground and has him dance the Charleston.

Same here. I have not pronounced his name in the last few weeks. It's usually, "That despicable lying piece of sh7t" said today....

Here's the quote from reuters.

In the interview, taped on Saturday and released on Sunday, Bush said U.S. security was "much better" since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. "Whether or not we can be ever fully safe is up -- you know, is up in the air. I would hope we could make it a lot more safe by staying on the offensive," he said
