Need some wood?
Looks good. Upward trend for Bush.
No upward trend IMO..we've been stuck at the 49-46 mark for awhile if you ask me.
Zogby has reported 2 'strong' days for Bush, but no real movement.
AR poll has it tied now..sheeze. FL poll is tied or kerry +1. Could Bush win popular vote by 3% and still lose?? It seems highly unlikely, but I'm tired of waiting for state polls to catch up with national polls. It ain't happening.
Deep down, I think Bush will win, but my deep down voice thinks my football team will win, but it didn't..........so FWIW....
man I just don't get the doom and gloomers here. keep the faith and let me know when the last time kerry even sniffed the lead in the popular and elctoral college projections. Now we all know the election is just over a week away but geeze lets get a grip.
Are you serious about taking the Arkansas poll "seriously". Do you really think that a Massachusetts ultra liberal is going to win in Arkansas?!
President Bush is ahead nationally by at least 4 points and he will win both Florida and Ohio. He will also win Iowa, Wisconsin, and New Mexico.
If the election was held today, and you had to make a choice, for whom would you vote...George W. Bush, the Republican, or John Kerry, the Democrat?

Battleground is up. Tipp is up. Zogby shows Bush up for both friday and saturday and has Bush breaking 50. Bush's job approval average is now above 50%. The Bush trend is most certainly "up".
TIPP showing Bush up by 6 is great news.
FAr be it from me to be doom and gloom, but I can call 'enough' on the 'upward' swing talk when it has yet to happen. We've been stuck here for quite awhile. THe key word is 'stuck'. Now I would rather be stuck in the lead than the other way around.
Everytime I see a candidate I want beat never trailing, I know he probably wins..but that is statewide races (johnson vs. Thune in 2002) so I'm relatively happy to be where we are.
Never-the-less...the 'upward trend' is stalled for past 5 or so days. The other cliche is that the state polls lag the national polls. Well that's be worn out as well given a 5-10 lag is plenty time.
I still don't see kerry winning, but there is no state in the battlegrounds that have broken with National polls EXCEPT maybe IA and like I said before, there is no 'upward' trend. It's stuck.
So, no flame at you, the only gloom I have is I would like for this to be a blowout to shut the crazy, hateful liberals up...that doesn't seem to be happening YET
The only 'up' is that zogby number. Zogby, the one we poo-poo here. Again, I'm not dooming and glooming about possible lose, I'm just fed up with the expected 'break out' or upward trend expectations. It hasn't happened beyond the 3-4 point leads. We are stuck ...for now.
Thank you, I feel better now!
TIPP is up 6 or 4 depending on LV or RV. Where have you been? Battleground is also up by 1. Did you just wake up?
Bush Job Approval is also up today.
Look, TIPP up 1 down 1, up 2, down 2. Battleground up 1. Same with Zogby, Rass. Zogby is +3 Bush, to +2 to +1 to +2 to +3 and back. Same with Rass and Rass is currently .5 difference. This is not a trend..have you been dreaming?
I've done some polling for a campaign firm, you?
Duho, WashPost/ABC has 'downward' trend. Do I belive that? No. No more than I believe in an 'upward' trend.
Like everything else, this looks like sampling 'noise' that seems to swing things 2 points every couple of days. Important, but not necessarily the WINNING position is that it is Bush that is always ahead.

ps. The WashPost poll seems to have oversampled women, but that could just be the 'noise'.
