Is this a violation of any U.K. laws? One would think that there should be some recourse available.

Looks like he can't make any trips to the U.S. anytime soon.lol I bet thought he was COMPLETELY immune from our laws but as long as Bush is alive, he can't step on to our soil w/o a visit from the secret service.

Dumb show (Guardian calls for assassination of US President)They're against the killing of terrorists, but a sitting US President is ok. If it wasn't for the USA, they'd all be speaking German.....TWICE.
Nice talk coming from SUBJECTS, and not CITIZENS.

On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you? Unbelievable. I'm speechless.

"That kind of garbage will anger a lot of Brits as well as Americans."
Too right. Unfortunately it won't anger the readers of the Guardian, who are sucking up the Kool Aid.

Wonder if this Brooker fool should be placed on the do-not- admit to the U.S. list, along with that other British genuis
Cat Stevens. I'm sure he is. Actually, if he were dumb enough to try to travel to the US, I would hope he would be arrested in flight and sent directly to jail upon landing.

This is enough to bar legally the writer from ever entering the US again. Let's hope the law is enforced.

I just called the local office of the Secret Service to report Mr. Brooker. He'll probably be on a watch list for the rest of his life.
