Still some work to be done,(the agreement with the Pol Pot massacre) but they're on the right path. (hopefully)

'Only foreigners talk about genocide. Deaths due to class conflict are inevitable.'

They have a few more pages of reading to catch up on before the final exam.

But Lee has yet to shed all his former ideology. 'Pol Pot had good ideas for Cambodia and for all people,' he said. 'Only foreigners talk about genocide. Deaths due to class conflict are inevitable.'

He doesn't quite get IT yet, but if they truly find Jesus...Wonderful.

This is Very Good News. Cambodia was known as one of the most peaceful and tranquil places on earth before Pol Pot came in. Pol Pot was another fine example of french schooling.

Approaching old age with that kind of guilt must weigh heavily on them.

this is simply another step pointed out by the leftist guru Antonio Gramsci!

Read up on Gramsci if you value your freedom and the lives of all your loved ones.

This is wonderful. The gospel is being preached to the ends of the earth. And Jesus can make any person new and clean. May God bless those new Christians.

If this is true, then they should give themselves up to earthly justice. If they don't, there is no conversion to the Light of Christ.

'Only foreigners talk about genocide. Deaths due to class conflict are inevitable.'

Lee should visit the USA during the final six months of a Presidential campaign.

And learn that beating each other over the head with ballots and
verbal broadsides somehow seems to make bullets unnecessary.
(well, after he's been here awhile we can explain there have been
some crazy times here like The Civil War...)

Lee might even find out how fun it is to hear supporters of Brahmin Bostonians like
Kerry and drawlin' Texans like Dubya trading insults like a sports event.
And that those supporters are from every conceivable "class" of society.

Christianity had a rough start in Cambodia; the bible wasn't fully translated into Khmer until about 1964, IIRC.
In 1970, there were only a few churches in Phnom Penn (2 Chinese and one Khmer for the Protestants, plus some Catholic churches left over from the French period).
The coup which overthrew Sihanouk was followed by Christian growth, so that by the time Cambodia fell to the Khmer Rouge,
there were some 30 Protestant churches in Phnom Penn (a growth factor of 10, in a period of 5 years).
The President of the Supreme Court and various other individuals had become believers in "the new God".
All of this was swept away with the fall of the city;
but apparently the earlier labor (and sacrifice) was not
in vain.
