Many readers have emailed us to say that on tonight's Scarborough Country, MSNBC "Senior Political Analyst" Lawrence O'Donnell went more or less insane. John O'Neill was on the program, and Pat Buchanan was subbing for Scarborough. Apparently O'Donnell went completely nuts, screaming "Liar! Liar!" at O'Neill, who kept his temper despite O'Donnell's raving. Our readers say it was the most bizarre incident in a frequently surreal campaign season.
The transcript is not yet available on the Scarborough site, but we'll link to it when it comes up, which should be tomorrow.
UPDATE: The Daikly Recycler has the video. It's unbelievable. And it pretty well sums up the attitude of the mainstream media and the Democratic Party toward the Vietnam vets who have opposed Kerry.
Good luck.
That is too funny, but makes the point exactly.
It is hard to believe that a network would employ this person. Mr. O'Donnell's elevator doesn't make all the stops.
O'Donnell and his innumerable fellow monsters (many of whom are ex-cons hired by the democrat party) are shooting up & trashing Republican headquarters around the country, intimidating early Republican voters around the USA, engaged in the most extreme vote fraud in our nation's history, assembling an army of crooked lawyers to steal elections, and (in the case of O'Donnell) conducting the most outrageous dishonest media bias campaign ever.
All I can say is, Swift Boat Vets, POUR IT ON!
When demoCREEPs like Larry O'Donnell, act like this, they are doing it for a reason. Kerry is stil very vunerable about something in his military record (possibly the discharge orders?). The demoSCUMs are willing to attack anyone for anything, but they usually are only this vicious when they are trying to hide something.
Larry must not be getting anything from the wife. very tense idiot.

Mr. O'Donnell's embarrassing display tonight warrants dismissal.
His loud, vehement, rude, and vile attacks on Mr. O'Neil were not only unprofessional, they reflect an ever obvious attitude in the media that is being exposed as unbridled irrationality.
I don't have a problem with the pro and con format of political talk shows, but the excessive lack of civility I witnessed tonight will probably drive your already meager audience back to Greta or to CNN.
Then Mr. O'Donnell made sure he "derisively" noted... over and over.... that Vice President Cheney's daughter was a willing participant in "lesbian sex"..."lesbian sex"..."lesbian sex"!!
The man is NOT a political pundant...he is a rabid irrational shill attempting to use the MSNBC platform to destroy his candidate's political opponents by any means possible...even at the expense of an innocent woman....
He managed to use the daughter of the Vice President, Mary Cheney to further his personal attack agenda on the same night he repeatedly shouted down a decorated war hero in an effort to prevent him from speaking or even answer Pat Buchanan's questions.
If your so called staff "experts" can only scream LIAR LIAR ...especially when they have no personal history pertinent to the discussion...his disgusting attacks are irrelevant. You and MSNBC have a poison in your midst that will continue to accelerate your slide behind your competition.
I think you had better....DUMP that guy.... quickly!!

I saw that fool last night and wanted to puke! I wanted to slap his face! He musta been in contact with McAwful, Serpent Head and the rest of the Demonrat goons to go on TV and make a complete and utter ass of himself..........for the "cause". These people have no morals. They'd sell their soul to the devil just to win back power.
The clip is amazing and should be shown to every "undecided" as an example of Democrat tolerance. His bizarre behavior reminded me of Roland Freisler's insane raving at the July 20, 1944 conspirators.
Great Work!
we've covered o'donnell's descent into lunacy quite a few times in a number of other threads, but I guess it's one of those things that you just can't say too often.
I saw the segment live; at the end O'Donnell looked quite pleased with himself. Buchanan should have had him dragged from the set rather than let him go on to the next segment; as though what he did was nothing extraordinary.
