FNC - Fred Barnes says that historically whoever has over 50 in the last Gallup Poll wins.

Posted on 10/23/2004 3:47:57 PM PDT by TBBT

If I heard Fred right, he said that whoever has 50 or greater in the last Gallup Poll historically has won the election. He also said that since Bush was at 52 in the last Gallup poll he has a good shot at it...

I wonder if that has historically been the case?

It will be interesting to see where the Gallup number fall tomorrow...

I'm hoping the Gallup numbers are good tomorrow. Let's hope they mirror the Time poll and not the Newsweek one.

I'm hoping that we can hold some kind of lead through the weekend polling...

BUT, if the MSM wants a horserace so you and I will run and check the numbers tommorrow and the next day and the next day, expect a downturn or flat for Bush numbers. Hopefully I'm wrong but you never know with the MSM.

Well, the last Gallup poll came out on Sunday, so I'm assuming it will be out tomorrow.

I expect there will be. The last one came out last Sunday...

Wolf will probably anounce it on his Late Edition show...

At least that would be my guess...

I was glad the Beltway Boys still have GWB ahead, 295-243. They were being pretty cautious I thought. They did not give Bush MI since he is ahead in only 1 poll there. Plus they gave NM to Kerry but other polls show him behind there. Fred and Mort do say Bush-Cheney will carry OH and FL. I hope they are right. If they do, and we add MN and NM, the Repubs will be at over 300 EV's. Won't even be close.

I hope the Beltway Boys are right. Freddy Barnes has contacts with the Bush Campaign and may have seen one or two internals, especially the ones about FL and OH

Depends... You always have to factor in the massive vote fraud that we'll probably encounter this go around...

I think the old days are over. I don't think you can historically say anything anymore. Times have changed.

Unfortunately, history has not considered the massive vote fraud taking place and the record number of RAT votes from young people, those in mental institutions, felons, illegal aliens, and dead people.
