Is this the October surprise?

Did Kerry get a dishonorable discharge that was changed by Clinton in '93?

on Freerepublic 9.29.04 a thread discussed a question on Sean Hannity Show of a caller asking about Kerry during his service days, in uniform and present for a flag burning and urinating on the American flag. I found this thread by way of Google search. I searched for this story because of inside information I was given by a friend who is extremely reliable who told me of what was about to happen. I'm looking to see if there is verification of this.

Two weeks ago my best friend for 30 years, a prominent and politically well connected individual who lives 500 miles from me in NC, told me about the October Surprise that the Swiftboat Vets would initiate the last week of the campaign. According to my friend (who got the information directly from a Swiftee he knows personally) John Kerry was actually dishonorably discharged from the Navy, and that is the reason he will not release all his military records. There are also photos of him burning an American flag. The other fact he told me was that in 1993 President Clinton changed Kerry's discharge to honorable.

I'm just trying to find out if there is any other information out there to verify this. There is little on Google or Yahoo, and nothing on the news.

One of the swift boat veterans was asked if they had tape of such a flag burring, and they said no.

However I think it is obvious that Kerry did not initially get an honorable discharge, because we know his discharge was upgraded later. What isn't clear are the circumstances surrounding the original discharge.

When "B1 Bob" Dornan was on a show about a month ago (Hannity and Colmes?), he said that he personally followed John Kerry and his band of merry VVAW guys for a whole day on the Mall in DC and filmed them burning and urinating on the flags. They were flying a N. Vietnamese flag too. He even brought a burnt or trashed flag to the show and said that he picked it up on that day 30 years ago.

MAN, if any of this is true, he is toast!!!!! I'd have to say that if i saw a picture of Kerry burning a flag I'd feel a bit sick to my stomach and so will a lot of people. You'd think that if Kerry knew anything about what is planning on coming out about him that'd he'd already reported himself or given up. So maybe he doesn't really know what is about to hit him. Anyhow, whatver it is we will all just have to wait!
