We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.
We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.
Mama T is carrying Jaques Chirac's love child.
That does not narrow it down very much.
Well, that was certainly enlightening.
Well the revelation that he praised the Afghan operation when it was going on on Larry King, and its contrast with his complete 180 on that issue now should have made some news.
I hope someone at the Bush campaign and RNC have plans to use this in an ad. It could be just as embarrassing for Kerry as his "I actually voted for the 87 billion, before I voted against it."
Just an unsubstantiated rumor, mind you, but my husband heard something big was going to break on Sunday (tomorrow). Take it with a grain of salt, but it could be related to post #1.
October Surprise?

When it's just an end.
You know, these rumors are really annoying.
Telegraphing your punches reduces their effectiveness,
as Sinclair discovered (assuming they ever really had
any intention of running the full POW movie).
The Kerry Kamp now has 48 hours or more to pre-spin,
dilute and sic lawyers on this story.
If you've got a solid info critical of Kerry, just run it.
Like Tuco said:
"When you have to shoot - shoot, don't talk."
Hmmmmm.
Could this be what we were waiting for?
WOW!
That'll really rock the campaign. (But then Bush will say that he honors his opponent's sincerity, and such questions shouldn't be raised, and they'll go away within 36 hours.)
ML/NJ
I would guess the Wahington Times.
Kerry doesn't have a foreign policy and hasn't for over 20 years. His last foreign policy was to slander all Vietnam Vets.
Let me guess: The Washington Times, The NY Post, or perhaps any of the other right-of-center newspapers that have a hard time getting noticed by the MSM? I mean, I'll read it and most of the people here on FreeRepublic will read it, but it will be buried elsewhere. Sorry if I'm feeling a little cynical - just getting too worried about this election.
Acceptable behavior for Democrats.
Well, we know he has lots of connections in France and we know that they have had many reasons to go against US.
Also, we know that Kerry sent a letter to Iran when he became the Dem candidate and said he would want to establish relations asap.. There has also been the story of the Iran-Americans in court that have given a LOT of money to Kerry's campaign.
Just a couple to throw out there.
One thing it might be would refer to a previous catch I had some months back, when Kerry spoke before the racial correspondents' convention, he stated that he had met with the UN Security Council the week before the Senate vote on the Iraq war (when he'd actually spent that time campaigning in Iowa, as I recall). I noted he made the same (erroneous) claim during the presidential debates.
What was the Stolen Honor bait and switch? I thought that was running?
