We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.
We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.
If they have the video of him saying it, and a way to clearly refute Kerry's claims, this could make a very effective ad.
I was thinking the same thing.
Sad but true.
I agree with you Eva; I think the KLA story is huge, but it might be that the Syria story is equally momentous. I don't think the KLA story is too difficult to understand. We understand it.
Actually I am not even sure why we are having this very long conversation. Everyone here knows that whatever "surprise" there is, the MSM isn't going to pick it up let alone report it, and if they did, they would probably make it to where it is GW's fault some how!
Somebody a couple months ago on their site said that they had the goods on Kerry. Well. The waiting is almost over if Drudge is going to break it tonight.
if they do, that would explain why they are always so cool under pressure. they know they have the proof.
I hope.
On that issue, I always thought they chose the title "Unfit for Command" with the idea that they had a document that they would release where he was described as such. But that might be the brutality of hope.
That would be a surprise
Hey, did you watch the video? It clearly states that they are trying to buy influence with the future Kerry administration and it shows Holbrooke telling them why they should do it. It shows them writing the checks.
Although an important story, it's not an October Surprise.
Yeah, there have been several threads in recent days about John Kerry and his support of the Albanians in Kosovo including the KLA(Kosovo Liberation Army)--an al Qaeda linked terrorist organization. I posted a March 27,1999 article in which he was requesting the govt fund the Albanians and KLA.
Then, there have been posts about his campaign receiving donations from the KLA complete with video. You could run a search and find it.
I believe that there is a connection between the Syria story and the KLA story. I think that it is possible that Kerry sent the same emissaries to both, maybe to other countries as well. I saw a post that stated that there was a story about Kerry sending a former Clinton state dept appointee and another advisor to Syria and Iran. (It's early in the thread somewhere). Holbrooke and Clarke fit that discription, plus the KLA have ties to other terrorist organizations in the M.E.
Kerry has always continued to brag about his connections with foreign countries. Perhaps he does have the shadow cabinet--Holbrooke, Clark and others who act as advisors and bagmen with various countries and organizations.
That's my guess.
Oh but wait -- the MSN will run with it if the klintons are behind it !!
It's like when a good attorney asks a question, they know the answer
Why do you thing that the KLA story is a loser?
It wouldn't be in one of the guys in that video who donated money to Kerry, ends up being one of the guys who killed the children in Russia. That would bury Kerry.
So should Wes Clark.
This may be why he hurriedly took a job in the private sector a week or so ago....
This story, by the way, was talked about on the Dutch thread last night - someone needed a translator and looked like it was about this bit of information.
Also, something about Alex Polier, the accused intern, doing something here....should be interesting.
There is nothing difficult to comprehend when the video clearly states that the US gov't is so corrupt that all you have to do is give money to a candidate and they will do what you want and then they are shown writing the checks. It's all very clear.
