We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.
We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.
is it that report that hes been in therapy?? I would guess for all the misery he has caused.....
What was the first clue? The F word in a headline, or the word pooper used by the president?
Is that Chelsea Clinton before her plastic surgery? She sure looks better than that now!
Ya'll have hit upon the buzz words that will make this stick - "Shadow Government". It is hard for people to understand and follow what appears to be merely smarmy poiticking, unless it is simplified and reduced down to the proper two-ingredient recipe (1.Shadow, 2.Government). A powerful image!
That, and the fact that at the end of the article it says the article is a satire. But several people in this thread have taken it seriously.
With the people who are voting for sKerry, it will be a plus for him.
I agree with the "HillBillY" camp opinion, but I just can't shake the feeling that it would have to be absolutely HUGE if not backed up by pics or video.
Anyone who 'knows' me here on FR knows I don't normally talk this way, so please excuse what I'm about to say. < /disclaimer >
Video of Kerry et al. would be a Pubbie strategist's wet dream.
There. I said it. < blush >
Fugeddaboutit, I called Kerry's rambling esoteric masterbation. We even had a boat called "Wet Dream."
I posted earlier that I was told that the Swifties have Kerry's military file and would use it when the time was appropriate. I don't think that is what the story in the WA Times is that is being hyped. Frankly, I'm afraid that the story is nothing more than Kerry's statements that he has met with members of the Security Council. It would be more of a story if it was proven to be true, than proven untrue. What is one more delusional lie among so many? There are other bigger stories out there than this, including a dishonorable discharge and the KLA donations.
I hope your gut is right. The story's a loser.
I wonder if he didn't make a deal of his own to keep prices artificially high until November 2.
So far, the guesses are running the gambit.
As I said, I'll stick with Syria.
What, that he actually has sex with his wife?
Why do you thing that the KLA story is a loser? It means that Kerry was accepting donations from a known terrorist organization. I don't thing that is the story that the bloggers have been plugging, however. I think that the KLA story is bigger.
That or a dishonorable discharge are the only things that I can think of that will knock him out altogether. Everything else is just white noise to the sheep committed to following him.
There was a posting yesterday, 10-23-04, that was headed "Kerry Campaign Funded by Terrorists" that everyone was supposing might be the October Surprise. Could that be what everyone is talking about? (if someone else has mentioned this, I didn't have time to read this whole thread-sorry)
Where did you hear that Kerry operatives had met with Syria? I read that early on in the thread and couldn't remember who said it. It was also stated that a former Clinton appointee was representing Kerry along with another Kerry foreign affairs advisor. Was that you? I don't think that is this story, though, sadly.
RedState.Org posted that they had pointed the way to the story that WA Times was going to come out with. They said that it had to do with Kerry's delusional lies and foreign policy. That says to me that it's just about the statements that he made before that Black group a few weeks ago, that he had met with members of the UN Security Council.
1) Because it's too hard for the average voter to believe, or even comprehend. It just sounds too conspiratorial. (think Chinagate).
2) Because the people smart enough to understand the implications of the story are already voting for Bush.
