Everybody in the stadium awaits the departure of Marine One ... event will re-air on C-SPAN 5:50 PM EST today.
Retirement security was one - stressing his SS plan for younger workers. Gotta see if I can recall the five points...
And thanks for the re-air time. I'm sure many missed a lot of the beginning because the Rally began 15 minutes before the time I posted off the C-Span schedule.
He was truly energized...Loved the line about Kerry running and hiding "in CAMO" - hilarious!!!
W gave a great speech today. Some new lines, very sharp, very focused. I also thought he looked great.
I just get cold chills when I see Marine One coming down, the door opening, and the Marines coming out, then our President. Can you imagine that horrible poser Kerry having control of all that? It boggles the mind.

Well worth seeing if you didn't catch it the first time. A good new speech and W looked terrific. Laura and Jeb are with him. Taking Florida by storm. Even got in a zinger about effin's camo.
C-Span now shows re-air time as 4:58 CT. After the Hearing that's on now and then Kerry's event.

The web site for the stadium says capacity 8,100 here. I figure the 14,000 ticket count is probably closer to the number. Given the demand for tickets and the disappointment on Friday when they were out, I'll bet they could have hit 25,000 easily.
My one gripe about the event: The mustard and ketchup at the concession stands was manufactured by Heinz.
Darn! I had to go to work this evening and didn't get to watch it again, but I am just glad I got to see the live version. My Favorite Headache had some awesome pictures that he took and posted on another thread. Got to see them when I got home tonight. Wish I had gotten to be there!
