OM Goodness! That was really something! Thanks for posting the link to audio. I couldn't stand to hear the second one. The first was quite enough. What a silly MORON to just scream and scream LIAR LIAR! It's actually hilarious! Thank Goodness for John O'Neill - calm and level headed.

I caught the 3am replay. Had just settled into bed with my freshly bought copy of "How to talk to a liberal".

Ordinarily would never watch MSNBC, but was flipping through the channel guide and saw Deborah Norville listed. I didn't even know she was back on the toob (or had forgotten), and wanted to see what she looked like these days (face was well made up, but is getting a chicken-neck), and how much of lib she is.

There was a teaser for Scarborough Country, and my ears perked up a) because it sounded like Buchanan's distinctive rasp and b) because I thought he mentioned O'Neill.

Sure enough, it was Buchanan filling in, with O'Neill, and some guy I'd never heard of, Lawrence O'Donnell.

I swear, I had just finished reading the line from the book "At a loss whenever anyone argues back, liberals have a number of stratagems to prevent conservatives from talking. They shout conservatives down;...", when that LUNATIC O'Donnell start SCREAMING like a donkey with a steaming-hot boiled potato up it's rectum (Billy Connolly line)

Every other scream from O'Donnell was some form of the word "lie". Lie, Liar, Lying, Liers, Lied, and whatever other forms there are, all at the top of his lungs. Someone needs to count 'em up 'cause he's surely headed for the Guiness record. I watched for as long as I could.

O'Neill was completely serene throughout, and answered calmly (when you could actually hear him). I guess when you've actual bullets fired at you in wartime(not the sKerry make-believe kind), things like a raving lunatics seem inconsequential.

Even Buchanan got in a good stomp on O'Donnell, but let him rant way too long.

O'Donnell needs check into the nearest available Tourettes Treatment Center, yesterday. He needs to refill his 'scripts pronto. And double the Thorazine dose. And up the voltage on the electroshock therapy. And have that boiling potato removed...

Can you believe this mental defective served in our government? From MSNBC's website:

"Prior to joining MSNBC, O’Donnell served as Chief of Staff to the Senate Finance Committee from 1993-1995. The Finance Committee has jurisdiction over legislation involving taxation, international trade, health care, Social Security, welfare and other income security programs."

Who would hire such a demented whack job? Oh, 1993-1995, NEVERMIND!

Ring! Ring!

Okey Dokey, it's your old friend Hannibal here.

Comparing that cerebal microorganism to me is quite insulting. I'll be seeing you for lunch...

We watched the entire thing on TV last night. It was dreadful. I do not recall hearing an adult behave in such a manner. Very childish .. no, my kids never even behaved in this manner. It was literally OUT OF CONTROL!

Thanks for the video.

Downloaded, and emailed to my all my conservative relatives (hey, every family has at least one black sheep), asking them to email it to everyone they know.

I counted O'Donnell saying forms of the word "lie" 24 times in 3 minutes 15 seconds. That works out to 8.125Lie/Second. Submitting to Guiness now...LOL.

The video was missing the part where Buchanan stomps on O'Donnell about his Vietnam "illegal war" comment, so I'm sure there's more "lies" in there.

"At a loss whenever anyone argues back, liberals have a number of stratagems to prevent conservatives from talking. They shout conservatives down;...",

This crew has been using the same tactic since their days in the Vietnam war era pro communist movement. They're just reliving, and justifying, their misspent youth.

The most telling feature, in this regard, of O'Donnell's rant was "the Illegal War" comment, and his turning on Nixon when it was pointed out that it was Kennedy and Johnson who got us into the war and that Nixon is the one who brought the troops home, half of them before John Kerry began his pro communist "protests".

"the Illegal War" comment

I just listened to both audio clips (O'Donnell LIE count now up to 40), which contained the entire 2 part interview.

I too loved Buchanan's response when O'Donnell said "illegal American war in Vietnam". O'Donnell really stepped on one of Buchanan's trip wires and got "blowed up real gud" as a result.

I think Buchanan showed considerable restraint while O'Donnell kept asking O'Neill what he did to end the war.

Buchanan let it slide for a while...but I'm guessing he was flipping the safety off, powering up, going to "ARMED" status, and lining up the bombsight.

"Illegal American war in Vietnam" was the trigger phrase, and Buchanan dropped a MOAB on him. And guess what? He had his facts straight.

I wish I had the video portion of that, I want to see if O'Donnell's tic-like rapid eye blinking increased and if he went to full-on facial spasms.

I really do think O'Donnell could have Tourettes Syndrome. From the "tourette syndrome association, inc." website, http://www.tsa-usa.org/:

"The most common first symptom is a facial tic such as rapidly blinking eyes or twitches of the mouth."

I just figured out I'm going to have to re-calculate O'Donnell's Lie/Sec ratio to only include the time O'Donnell is actually exhaling excrement through his larynx, not the entire interview length. It's going to be a lot higher 8.125 "Lie" per Second.

Yikes, it's noon already, I have a ton of stuff I have to do today. I'll have to do it tonight, with a six pack, so I can laugh myself senseless at the same time. Have to remember to find my stop watch and unpack the hi-fi powered speakers too.

Thanks for posting this, Mr. O'Donnell must have thought he was on the McGluffan(sp?) group instead on the show he was on.

I've just listened to this for the first time, and O'Donnell's conduct is disgraceful.

This would be tantamount to the Wellstone Jamboree, if only MSNBC had any ratings.

O'Donnell ought to be made an example.
