Sinclair Broadcast Group last night aired a program that sharply criticized John Kerry over Vietnam, with the anchor declaring: "Some people are trying to suppress the right to free speech."
After two weeks of accusations of partisan bias, the hour-long special led off with Carlton Sherwood, who produced the anti-Kerry film "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal," saying: "What is John Kerry's campaign afraid of?"

Could you post an excerpt where FR was mentioned?
LOL!
Could you post an excerpt where FR was mentioned?
Thank you.
Oh well, it didn't have the bite it should have, but on the otherhand, it made Kerry look stupid by him making such a fuss over it.

Well, my fingers are not cold and dead and my keyboard has not been ripped away. While this is not entirely a win for FR, neither is it a crushing defeat. Free Republic is alive and well and the fight against liberalism continues on. It's a crying shame that the hallowed words of the WP/LAT will no longer grace our pages, but, somehow, I am sure we will manage to live on without them.
**** MAYBE WE SHOULD SUE THE WASHINGTON COM-POST. DID THEY GET PERMISSION TO REPRINT OUR COMMENTS? ***

Thanks for the post.
I don't believe they have that right....
Yes but it couldah been a contendah!
That's the shame of it. Stolen Honor is very powerful and if they had showed the entire program it would have drop Kerry's poll numbers by 5 points I bet.
Oh well... couldah, wouldah, shouldah.
It's too bad Sinclair has to try to be fair when the rest of the MSM does not and can be pro-Kerry all the time1
Sinclair either should have shown it all or none of it, they opted to show excerpts. The big losers in all of this "fight for the truth" were the viewers and the producer. Carlton Sherwood should be mad as hell his full length documentary was opined by left-winged dingbats and chopped up to just 10 minutes.
