RENO, Nev. - John Kerry said yesterday that if he had run the war against Afghanistan, Osama Bin Laden would be dead or in chains now.Kerry has accused his rival of letting Bin Laden escape before, saying U.S. forces had the terror mastermind cornered, but left his capture up to Afghan warlords.
He upped the ante yesterday at a rally in Reno, saying, "Can you imagine trusting them when you have your 10th Mountain Division, the United States Marine Corps? I would have used our military and we would have gone after and captured or killed Osama Bin Laden."
A Bush rep called that "another exaggeration of John Kerry, saying anything no matter how untrue it is."

Kerry would still be engaging the Germans and French to go into Afghanistan...but only if all members of the UN security council gave him permission. Thats the sad truth.

This obscene Kerry lie has been completely debunked by Tommy Franks.
Kerry would be well advise to get off losing rant, and that fact that he hasn't simply demonstrates his desperation.
And people in wheelchairs would be walking again.
Kerry's saying that he could or would have captured or killed Osama bin Laden by now - where everyone else has failed - is just about as credible as a 10 year old schoolkid watching Jerry Rice miss 65 yard pass saying "I could have caught that one."
Kerry would have Osama- over for dinner.
Here's an idea: Let's give the 10th Mountain Division 535 electoral votes and let them decide the election.
I think that's about 535 electoral votes too many for the Democrat military voting plan...
