Summary: A Truly Objective Review
Stolen Honor is not so much about dragging John Kerry through the mud as it is about explaining why so many veterans despise this man. The film does little to tarnish John Kerry's image any more than he has already done so by himself during his 1971 testimony. Americans who would like to know why the Swift Boat Vets, other veterans and POW's despise John Kerry so much should definitely watch this film.
For those that claim this film is pure propaganda aimed at dragging John Kerry through the mud, I have to say that I didn't even hear John Kerry's name until 20 minutes into the film (which at that point it was halfway over since it's a 40 minute film). A must see for those that want some questions answered.
THOSE comments are about the documentary. But what Sinclair showed was NOT the documentary. They showed about a 2 minute excerpt of it.
Some people who haven't seen either the documentary or Sinclair's program might be confused as to what we're talking about.
The documentary is very good. Sinclair's program sucked.
I must agree with your objective review. I found the video to be very balanced and thought-provoking - while still putting the blame for atrocities against POWs at Kerry's feet where it belongs. For the life of me, I can't imagine why Sinclair caved.
