Everytime I take a s**t it smells like Buchanan and looks like his wife. He's about as smart as Carter, Da!!!!
Can't blame this blowhard on the Libertarians!
;^)
No, I don't think so. It can come across that way, but really, I think they are what you say -- isolationists. But they're isolationists with a deep resentment for Israeli influence over U.S. foreign policy.
Bump for an unAmerican nonConservative piece.
Hitler and Stalin were not opposites. They were both leftist and socialist. Stalin called Hitler 'right-wing' in an attempt to 'smear' him. The press today calls Hitler 'right-wing' in an attempt to smear conservatives. Don't buy into that. They were both as left as left can be.
But neoconservatism now encompasses much more than Israel-obsessed intellectuals and policy insiders.
Wow it took the writer 9 paragraphs to get to his REAL argument.
One of the problems paleo-cons have is they want it to be 1934 and it's not.
There is nothing American or Conservative about buchanan and o'connells magazine.
I don't want to hear anything about Dubya "not conservative" enough or not Republican enough or not this or not that....
he ain't perfect...who the hell is....
one thing is for sure though....f'n kerry will finish this country off after the 8 criminal years of the Toon, and we will never survive.....
get out there and vote..... Dubya for Prez!!!
I've to read it a couple of times but it hurts to much.
It's also important to not forget how some who call themselves conservative are stabbing the nation in the back this election.
now its between who is patriotic to this country and wants to ensure its rightful place and who wants us to be the UN puppet.....
We have Maria Canreadorwrite as Senator because some yahoos decided they didn't want to play ball with a moderate Republican who on his worse day, was far, far better than any Demonrat ....
Then of course we have the unreformed patsies around here who are proud of claiming that buchanan did (reluctantly) endorse the President. Sure...while trying to stick ten knives in his back.
People need to remember and never forget.
We have aircraft, satellites, instant global communications, ICBMs, and international corporations on which our economy thrives. So do other nations. Anyone espousing isolationism is a moron.
This is from buchanan's partner and HIS unAmerican nonConservative rag.
"Ive heard people who have known George W. Bush for decades and served prominently in his fathers administration say that he could not possibly have conceived of the doctrine of pre-emptive war by himself, that he was essentially taken for a ride by people with a pre-existing agenda to overturn Saddam Hussein."
This is silly name-calling, and this joker is obviously just trying to get some attention.
As for "this magazine" being opposed to Kerry if he is elected, heck, I've never heard of the magazine so it won't make a lick of difference to me what position they take. They can try to get Perot to run again for all I care.
'Stir it up.' A great song by Bob Marley. But O'Connell exposes some real genuine weaknesses in the current president.
I know a lot of conservatives who agree that Bush is a maniac in Christian conservative clothing and that he has literally robbed the Treasury in four years. Some say they will vote for Kerry, ironically, to protest Bush's Iraq War Quagmire Syndrome. Way too many kids dying. Repub kids, Demo kids, and sadly lots of kids who never ever had the chance to vote!
This war sucks! That's what my relatives in IRAQ say too.
