Another whopper of a sports gaffe for Kerry as he continues to lie in his effort to be all things to all people. I'm sure this game was seared, seared, seared in his memory.

With a three games to two lead over the Mets, the Sox had an opportunity, at long last, to bring a championship to a city which hadn't known victory since 1914.If you're going to write this stuff, you need to be accurate: the Sox last won the Series in 1918, NOT 1914.

Shay Stadium just in time for the tenth inning Before lambasting Kerry about his "Lambert" field, they should probably spell Shea Stadium right...

John Kerry, who on numerous occasions has claimed to have been seated at Shea Stadium that night, at a distance of no more than 30 yards from Buckner. It was seared, seared I tell you, into his memory!

I have a Manny Ortiz rookie card. Does anyone know what it's worth?

I wish I were independently wealthy so I could purchase two tickets to the World Series games in Boston (and one first-class round trip air fare from Saint Louis with two overnights at the Harbor Hotel) for the Saint Louis Cardinal -- Raymond Cardinal Burke and get him to sit next to John Forbe sKerry for both games. I think that would be an interesting matchup.

If the F'n was only 30 yards from 1st base, then there must be a photo of him somewhere. A good search and some photo enhancement could turn it up. Of course a real fan would keep his tickets from a World Series, but we know that isn't likely to turn up.

I'm sure Kerry, who relives Vietnam in his locked, basement room, with his 8mm films, and nekkid, confuses what he is watching with what he has done.....

Wonder if he requested a Purple Heart-break award that night. I guess, tho' when you marry rich widows, you can have any memories that you'd like.

With a three games to two lead over the Mets, the Sox had an opportunity, at long last, to bring a championship to a city which hadn't known victory since 1914. That's 1918, bub. Pretty stupid mistake in a story about Kerry's stupid mistakes.
