JESSE VENTURA ENDORSES KERRY

ST. PAUL - Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura has officially endorsed Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.

The announcement was made during a 30-minute news conference at the State Office Building. The former Minnesota was there, but did not make any comments.

Just days ago, Ventura had said that he did not plan to support Kerry or President Bush this election year.

Also at the news conference was former Maine Gov. Angus King, who was the only other third-party governor during Ventura's years in office. He said Ventura changed his mind and decided to endorse Kerry.

Organizers didn't even know Ventura was going to show up until the news conference started. He told reporters who followed him out to his car afterward that he'll be doing interviews in Los Angeles.

Kerry probably offered him Sec-State like a dozen or so others.

Please. Tell me that's not him. (Does anyone take this guy seriously? He's taken one-too-many knees to the head, imo.)

Pathetic when you have to get the endorsement of an ex-governor with the lowest approval rating in the history of Minnesota! But that's okay Kerry deserves it!

I agree. This is about as valuable as Ross Perot's endorsement of President Bush in 2000.

"Jesse is one of the most unpopular residents in Minnesota. Everyone recognizes that his administration was totally a wash and unproductive."

I have often wondered how embarassing it must be to anyone in MN with a brain, that Ventura was ever elected governor.

This could actually deliver Minnesota for Bush. I'm not joking, either.

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura has officially endorsed Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.

This coming from a guy who saw the Wellstone "memorial" rally first-hand. Either Ventura has a ridiculously short memory or he's a moron.

Oddly they don't mention that he is currently teaching at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Being for Kerry is not a choice if you work there.

Ventura = whacked!

Ventura was a SEAL in Vietnam and tends toward Libertarian view.

So he endorses Kerry?!?!?! Sorry Jesse, you're out of your mind if you might happen to have one.
