Bomb threat won't deter Republican workers

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz.

A little after 10 am Thursday morning police were called to the Republican Party headquarters in Lake Havasu in response to a bomb threat phoned. Volunteer coordinator Patti Silvestri took the call from a person she described as a male voice of indeterminate age.

“I answered ‘good-morning Republican Headquarters this is Patti may I help you,’ and he said I just want you to know that place will be blown-up,” said Silvestri.

According to District 3 party chairman Noreen Thomas the threat will not deter her or her staff and volunteers from doing their work.

“I am not going to be intimidated by a terrorist,” said Thomas. “Nor am I going to be intimidated by a John Kerry supporter.”

Bruce Hinnman, Democratic candidate for Arizona House seat three was visibly dismayed at the thought that anyone from any political party would do such a thing. “I think it is deplorable that anybody would do that,” said Hinman. “In a republic there any number of parties that can be had, but when people start interfering with the process that is inexcusable.”

Police spokesman Charlie Cassens said that authorities are investigating the threat.

It's spreading... does anyone really want these people in charge of our safety and lives?

No wonder the Democrats love the terrorists. They both believe in using violence to intimidate their opponents.

Astute observation. The ends justify the means. Any struggle recorded will be tossed into the memory hole and revised for the history books.

Cincinnati, OH ... local news reports today the Republican office downtown was broken into last night. Window broken, files rifled, office furniture overturned and damaged. No one apprehended yet.

That is the result of the democratic candidate encouraging hatred of the opposition. Not only dose he encourage hatred of the president but he encourages hatred of us, the presidents supporters.

Frankly I'm not so sure that violence isn't part of John Kerry's plan. He does have a history that shows a revolutionary bent.

“I am not going to be intimidated by a terrorist,” said Thomas. “Nor am I going to be intimidated by a John Kerry supporter.”

Isn't that a sort of redundant statement??!

..better than "turd world",

yeah, we are & will always be.

This is still minor & could easily be "dealt" with by applying a little creative security.

Can you say Totalitarianism? Maybe that is why liberals loved Saddam. He held "free" elections that resulted in 100% of the vote for him. Get the feel that is the type of elections liberals in this country would like to have? It's hard to imagine these people talking about intimidation and vote suppression when it is they who are 100% responsible. I wish we had some visibility on these issues, but I guess that's what the New Media is for!!! Make everyone aware.

This was probably one of the cowardly custards who tossed pies at Anne Coulter last night. He got a pat on the hand from the U of A police and was feeling bored by this morning. So I ask you, Why Does The Democratic Party Endorse Violence Against Women?

You notice the Crats aren't filling the media with pictures of Ann covered with pies. Most people would not find this lawlessness funny. The libs are secretly rooting for these fascists, but know that mainstream people wouldn't be.
