EVERY HOSTAGE TAKEN RENEWS THE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM
My opinion ^ | October 22, 2004 | Righter-then-Rush

Terrorists may not understand the psyche of the Western public, and they obviously have no clue as to the emotional impact of the war on terror. Each time a new hostage is taken (beheaded or released is inconsequential to the effect, as people consider them separate events), terrorists renew our vows against them by those supporting the war against them.

Another nail in the coffin...

Perhaps weaker nations with less (or no) resolve for justice would bow to cowardice. We won't. If it takes a lifetime, we will not forget the 3,000 lives taken on 9/11. Worse for them, though, is the renewal of the war, bringing into our minds the fresh lust for justice, with every person they hold up like a Cracker Jack prize.

Somebody should teach terrorists that the hotter the war against them gets, the worse it will be for anyone that they ever cared about. But then, with 17 virgins waiting for them, I can see where their motives are. Any 16-year old could think that way. It takes someone made free by God and their free nation to think above that. They do not appear to be keep on learning this lesson on their own.

Weak discretion + strong passion. Islam. The religion of peace.
