"Kerry had appeared in phone booths in the battleground states. And there was room for more people."
That's because the drunks had to keep stepping outside to unrinate.

No, but if you can find out where the rally will be held, you might be able to come up with a rough guess by figuring out how many people the place can hold. I'd be willing to bet it will be filled to capacity.

"""I'm posting these "size of the crowds" threads just to help us keep our spirits up.""" The heck with the part about keeping our spirits up. They are up. My reaction to the pics is they are darn impressive. That is one big turn out! Wow!

"Hersheypark Stadium holds 30K people too. Amazing."
It looked filled too, AND it was raining! I don't understand how the polls can say the President and Kerry are tied when the President can bring this many people out time and time again.

They don't just hate him, they hate us.
Gee, that kind of sounds like the terrorists! Actually we are fighting a war in Iraq and against the Dems!

"Any crowd predictions for Jacksonville on Saturday yet?" If Bush had an opening band play Louden Wainwright III's 'Dead Skunk (In the Middle of the Road)', he'd have a Woodstock wherever he goes:):)

I love those kids ingenuity! LOL
I love these crowds and pics!
Every single time these are shown it hits the Dems/MSM/world/Hollywood in the gut. Sure, some hate him. For the same reason they hate us and America. But this man is beloved as our country is beloved. It's as much a display of our feelings for the Prez as it is for our country.

Well, while I'm certainly encouraged by this... to be fair, it was the same way in 2000... Bush drew crowds, Gore didn't...

Careful, careful, those Secret Service types would be hovering over any date with the lovely Barbara. They always look distinctly unhappy.

I'm surprised the SS allowed that to happen.

"Wow, that woman with red sleeves is caressing his face in a couple of pics and has a death grip on his arm in another."
Reminds me of my daughter's encounter with W's father when he was President. She shook his hand and grabbed his arm and said she just couldn't let go!

The top one looks like the crowd was starting to file out, but it does give us a sense of the miserable weather.
