Kerry has appeared in phone booths in the battleground states.

Kerry was in Wilkes-Barre (PA) this week, and packed the house at the F.M. Kirby Center. All of the tickets were given out, and it was mostly his volunteers and other supporters who attended. The Kirby seats about 1,800...

The only answer I have is that you possess common sense. The people you describe most definitely do not.

I've seen him 3 times in the last several weeks

He's been there? I see posters saying he hasn't been to Ohio, is that not true?

Why, indeed, since he apparently never intended to campaign.

Hersheypark Stadium holds 30K people too.

And that's probably just in the stands and not counting the seats on the field.

So I pick up the energy vicariously through these photos, and suspect plenty of others do, also.

NO COMPLACENCY! Agreed. To use a football metaphor, we have to work as though we have the ball on our own 20-yard-line with 1:00 minute to go in the game and we're down by 4. We can do it, but we have to make that one last almighty push over the top.

OK, never mind. I went to the Hersheypark Stadium website and found this - I never should have doubted the word of fellow FReepers ;-).

HERSHEYPARK Stadium continues to shine as the venue for athletic events, holding nearly 16,000 in the stands. Overall, HERSHEYPARK Stadium can hold 30,000 fans for concerts.

This is sincere love and affection for the President.

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Kerry being showered with this much love...must be pretty disgusting touching his BOTOX-filled face.

Great crowds! Heartwarming pictures, and Barbara is perfectly lovely. Her dad is justifiably proud of his girls.

W. should make sure to end sugar price supports in his next administration, that will cut the price of sugar in half and save Hershey from outsourcing their operations like Life Savers has.

Thanks for the story. My brother lives in Texas (west of Lake Conroe) and he asked me about them and also my parents who at that time had a condo in Galveston. I've got pics of me with him and his signature on a Bush for prez. placard. I recently saw him in Muskegon and it makes you feel like a teenager when you think he's making eye contact with you. ( He probably is!!)

If Arnold can be persuaded to run for Gov., surely the CEO from Cisco Systems or some other multimillionaire can be persuaded to run against Boxer.

I think the difference between running a business and being elected to an office is having people listen to you or doing what they damn well please, until you convince them otherwise. Is an elected office a Human Resources-style job?

Those HR gals are clueless about your jobs and throw little parties at exactly the wrong time for the successful completion of my project that I spend 10 hours a day getting to that point.

Poor Kerry, he can never talk about the greatness of the American people, or risk losing his base.
