Don't you understand what "increased risk" or "twice as likely" means? It does not mean that all babies born by Caesarean section suffer the problem. Only that more do than those born vaginally. So to say that your kid was born by Caesarean section and is fine is a totally meaningless comment.
There is also a correlation between Caesarean births and asthma. My daughter was born vaginally, but suffers from asthma. It would make no sense for me to try and dispute the correlation by using her as an example. Using anecdotal evidence to try to dispute a study is absurd.

Yawn. My husband has asthma and he was a vaginal birth.
How can you say that anecdotal evidence of healthy children is meaningless? I breastfed all of my children due to allergies and other health concerns in my husbands (yeah that is plural, I have more than one husband) famiies.
As I told a previous poster, indeed anecdotes do not equal data, nor do correlation equal causation.
Also, you are citing your daughter's asthma is anathema to your post, as I read it.

Maybe meaningless to you...so don't read it then. It also seems that most mothers I have talked to have had the same type of experiences as I have.

I find that you just talking to us like children is absurd. We have the right to compare stories. If you don't like it, read something else.

So we have no right to comment with our actual experiences? Give me a break! So far none of our children have experienced these symptoms but that doesn't pertain?
