Bush supporter? Yes, on many issues. Including the sort of folks who are likely to be appointed to the Federal Courts. As you well know, in 1973 the Supreme Court usurped the legitimate authority of the several States to outlaw abortion as a form of murder. On this issue, control of the Congress is a red herring. And Pres. Bush is far more likely to appoint judges and justices who respect the Constitution than is the Joker King.
Fundamentally, though, this whole business is a matter of internal Catholic debate, as to whether someone who actively supports legalised abortion is fit to participate in the sacramental life of the Church. If it bothers you, don't click on it.
If Roe vs. Wade is reversed, abortion will become a states rights' issue,
as all matters of simple criminal law should be.
in other words, abortion will not be prohibited in every state
but the matter can be addressed in the State Legislatures, or on State ballot referenda, where it belongs.
You are right. We agree on more than I thought. Thanks
And last year took their usurpment a bit further by voiding State laws against sodomy (beginning in Texas.)
