The Kerry campaign is running "paid advertising" to promote his upcoming visit to Reno, this Friday. Best of all, they bought time on the local Talk station (KKOH). I heard the ad during Rush this morning.
The President drew a huge croud during both his visits, without spending a dime on air-time.
Are they afraid that they won't fill the room without paid promotion? Is this a sign of desperation?
I think its funny that they're having to pay.
Go W!!!!
Welcome to FreeRepublic! My daughter lives in Reno and I was there 2 weeks ago visiting. Pretty town and hopefully Bush will win there!
The Kerry campaign was doing the same thing here in Manhattan a while back - Come meet John Kerry! As if!
Bush fills stadiums everywhere he goes. Kerry offers free food and can't fill a Waffle House.
After it over, no one will remember the paid advertising if he gets a full house. Kerry will get his full house and campaign image and that's all that will matter to voters and viewers. He's just being practical.
This is too funny... they have to advertise so people will show up! Why is sKerry going there if he doesn't have a base of support to draw from. The campaign is on it's way to imploding!!
Sadly, there are a lot of rich elderly liberal ladies here that just "love" Kerry.
See my tagline.
Excellent! Another Reno FReeper!
Something tells me that there maybe be more people there than we think, since my neighborhood seems to have more sKerry/Breck girl bumper stickers of late. GW better take this state.
I like it!
