After Staging Photo-Op 'Hunt,' Kerry Refuses to Carry His Own Bird
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said he bagged a goose on his Poland, Ohio swing state hunting trip Thursday, but his real target was the voters who may harbor doubts about him.
Kerry returned after a two hour hunting trip wearing a camouflage jacket and carrying a 12 gauge shotgun, but someone else carried the bird that he had shot.
'Im too lazy', Kerry joked. 'I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus.'
Although he claims to be an avid hunter, Kerry has never joined the 315 member Congressional Sportmans Caucus.
John Kerry, [however] has a 100 percent rating from the radical animal rights group like PETA and the Fund for Animals.

This is such a lying, lame excuse...it's so obvious, as many Freepers have stated...sKerry did NOT want to get caught on film carrying the goose; he probably didn't kill it either...just made it look like he did...this is NOT a good man.
Gee, I thought that Ohio Law required that all hunters must wear at least one piece of DAYGLO Orange!

And now they've changed the title to: "Hunt Gives Voters Different Image of Kerry "

The articles I've read say none of the reporters SAW him shoot it.

Slate, ever the libs' mouthpiece, tries to explain away Kerry's sports flubs:

But he did quickly catch the error, even repeating "Manny Ortez" in an incredulous tone as if to scold himself for making such a bonehead mistake. Still, when Kerry corrected himself he did mispronounce David Or-TEEZ as David Or-TEZZ. Panagopoulos hadn't heard Kerry make the gaffe—he had only read about it in Gammons' column. Good grief; I don't even watch baseball and I can name some Red Sox players; Pudge Fisk, for one.

I just called PETA and left them an outraged message and a plea to issue a very public statement about this.
This is just disgusting! He killed an innocent animal for nothing!
