This type of endorsement speaks directly to character. Fell free to pass this along to your email lists.

We don't want to get into this game. There are 10x more athletes who will endorse Kerry, even non-Allen-Iverson types.

John Elway and Lynn Swan should consider running for office someday in their respective states.

Why haven't they endorsed Kerry then? What are they waiting for?

I have a feeling Adam Dunn is a southpark republican but could be wrong. He likes to party with his pal Austin Kearns and likes to look at the ladies as he patrols left field. Dunno how he handles single life being in the MLB as it can lead to social problems like kids out of wedlock and rape charges for over zealous past girlfriends.
Dunn is from Texas so it might just be nature for him to support Bush. Im good with it.

Craig Biggio and Carlos Beltran ... even MORE of a reason to root for them over the evil Red Sox (once Clemens wins tonight that is)
Also, A Rod and Raphael Palmeiro are Bush supporters, donating the max to the campaign this election cycle

I seriously doubt it. I would expect that the vast majority of pro athletes would be apolitical, too busy gettin' laid and paid to worry about little stuff like who's running the country.
Karl Malone could potentially be a powerful spokesperson. He's reasonably articulate and intelligent, well-spoken, a down-home kind of guy. I wish he wasn't on the Lakers, I'd like to see him get a championship ring.
So...where's the report on these endorsements on the nightly news tonight? Oh. Never mind.

I don't care what actors think about politics and I don't care what athletes think either.
I care what the morons in our cities and schools think. They will determine the future of this Republic.
It looks grim.

And why shouldn't they be? They worked hard to get to where they are and deserve to reap the rewards, right?
