Most importantly, Kerry said he shot a goose, but was too lazy to carry it out. I've never been hunting with anyone too lazy to carry what he kills.
I guess most people don't go hunting with their butler. I'm sure the butler also provided Kerry with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the crust cut off, as is typical among hunters.

And look at his reason:
'"I'm too lazy," Kerry joked. "I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus."'Let's put that together with his comment on LKL about the WTC bombings:
"And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon. -- AND --
'"I'm too lazy," Kerry joked. "I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus."'
Seems to me a pattern of admitted incompetence and impotence. Thanks for maggiefluffs for finding these comments on the other thread. -- Kerry goes a-huntin' for votes

right. furthermore, and this is where I'm scratching my head, this is just such a low-yield publicity stunt, not like he's shoring up party faithful at a rally here. truly another krazy kerry kampaign kaper.
then there's teresa's latest bush ad (her Laura comment is apparently getting wide play in Michigan)

They said Kerry pointed his loaded shotgun in the direction of a person nearby I guess Kerry was having a "flash-back" to Viet Nam.

"I'm not really a hunter, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn, last night."
Kerry commenting to the press after the hunt. /sarcasm

I just heard (again) on FNC that Kerry said he didn't carry his two geese (limit) because ..... (drum roll)...
"He was too giddy from the Red Sox winning."
Giddy. He was frigging GIDDY! I don't want MY POTUS be be "giddy" - ever!

He'll probably endorse his cellmate so he can get a free pack of smokes.

Kerry is LIVING in Ohio. He is obviously behind and KNOWS he must win this state to stand a chance.

Wanna hear something uncanny?
Since the Red Sox won - Massachusetts
If the Astro's Win - Texas
See the similarities in two campaigns?

"Kerry pointed his loaded shotgun in the direction of a person nearby" ping
I wonder if he had shot somebody, how that would help his poll ratings.
I also wonder what the animal-rights activist think about hunting only for the recognition. Does anybody think he actually ate what he shot?

Kerry hunting reminds of the ONE time that Bill Clinton went hunting early in his first term. These people aren't outdoorsmen. Kerry just make a bigger fool of himself by pretending to be an outdoorsman. Real outdoorsmen know this.

I question the timing of this series.

thing is, that's not just an act
"forbidden among hunters", but is basic common sense and safety AND respect for those around you.
Guess he didn't have to take that Hunter Training Course that is required for the Ohio license???
And no wonder they wanted him out of Viet Nam!
So now we have:
lazy,
giddy,
hard to focus
ignorant of basic safety principles
AND oblivious of the wellbeing of those around him

Where the heck is PETA? If George W. were hunting like Kerry, PETA would be going nuts!
