Even for the DemocRATS, this is a low blow. Just when you think they couldn't get lower in the gutter, they have broken through the pavement and burrowed down into the sewer.
A caller on Laura Ingraham's show just commented that she received a call that is being used to target military families. (Paraphrasing) -- We are sorry to inform you that your husband is dead...........this is the message you will receive if George Bush is re-elected.
Laura is hoping that someone will be able to get that recorded message so it can be exposed for all to see.
They are not all like this, of course, but we are dealing with a large number of the scum of the earth in the opposition party. They really are different from us. They are why we must win.

Cell phone could explain it. He seemed to pause too long before answering the questions, and that's what got me wondering. But you're right, cell reception would explain it.
I could not imagine getting a call like that....with my husband being in Iraq. It just makes me sick to my stomach.
Not much new. Bottomline. This is a shameless effort by people who appear to be John Kerry supporters, working to discredit the President and the War in Iraq. They want these soldiers wives to vote for Kerry and not Bush. The womans named that called was "Tammy" and thses people might be using a call list of soldiers KIA in Iraq. All the facts haven't come out yet. The military at Fort Carson and Peterson Field are investigating further.
There is going to be a special punishment for these people.
If any military or ex-military cought them doing this the punishment would be SPECIAL!!

What do they think the reaction of the person who answers the phone would be when they find out that they've just been gutpunched? Love for the party that did it? There would be an overwhelming backlash against them.
In fact, if it turns out that these calls have been made, the Democrats are going to claim that they were placed by the Bush Campaign in order to make Kerry and the Democrats look like sleazeballs.
The democraps are even lower than I could have believed. That kind of behavior falls under the classification of harassment.
Thanks for the heads-up. I will have trap-lines installed on the telephones of my friends who have loved ones in the military. Trap-lines are useful for investigative work --and they deliver every time.
Anyone who calls said friends or me will be identified and dealt with. Let's just leave it at that.....

Desperate tactics from a desperate group. That type of message is uncalled for. Can you imagine if the Pubs did that to the RATS? The RATS would be calling for a congressional inquiry as well as an FEC & FBI search. It would all over the front page of every newspaper in the US.
I've heard that it envolved a Fort Carson, CO, family.
This is the kind of trash that the left thinks are acceptable tactics. This is political terrorism, pure and simple, practiced by filth.

The TV station in Pueblo -- KOAA -- is on the story. They heard from a woman three days ago about a call and interviewed her disguising her voice and identity. The caller said she was Tammy from the Kerry campaign and wanted to give condolences. The woman told Tammy she had just spoken to her husband. Tammy still tried to convince her to vote for Kerry. A few other women who were friends of this one got the same call from Tammy. One of them had a husband who really did die. Ft. Carson and Ft. Peterson investigators are looking into this.
This does sound like an "urban legend". Sadly, it's not too far from believable. The Left is so infused with hatred and power-lust right now that they would do just about anything to win.
