Interesting, but... Chaka Khan and Denzel Washington? I'd like to think so, but don't.
I like Chaka, but I remember her "performance" at the 2000 GOP convention. Her face and demeanor said, "I hate being here. It's just the money."

yes, I have read about Denzel. He was questioned recently & made it pretty clear, he is NOT in Kerry's camp
Actually CHaka has taken a lot of hits in the black communty for her stand on being a republican. So has Reggie White.

But I can't imagine her putting her name with the party if she was only in it for the money. If they aren't Republicans, they stay far, far away from us which suits me just fine.
