I'm a Cincy river rat migrated to the Dayton area in '63. OK, so I'm an old river rat. I would have loved to have seen the Enquire article. That picture is worth a million words.

Here ya go!

Bush pauses to comfort teen

He worked the line at a steady campaign pace, smiling, nodding and signing autographs until Prince spoke:

"This girl lost her mom in the World Trade Center on 9-11."

Bush stopped and turned back.

"Tezzie"

I like that name!

Nickname I coined yesterday. I thought it sounded descriptive. Feel free to use and spread at will!

Nice job, Tezzie, you're just SO sophisticated and smooth. Issue an arrogant putdown of the most popular and respected woman in America. Then put out a false-sounding high-handed apology through the press.

Pumpkin crunch cookies,....mmmmmm.

It grabs your heart, I taped the events on 9/11 as they were being broadcast. Every now and then I try to watch it and it rips me apart and being honest I don't cry very often I'm one of those guys who doesn't but this is beyond my control. It makes me want revenge in the worst ways and makes me scream when I see Democrats attack our president for doing the right thing. It will never being Sept. 10 again and I wish some how the Democrats could see this and until then I have ZERO respect for them and their party.

Thank you soooo much G Man. What a wonderful article.

" "I'm a pretty cynical and jaded guy at this point in my life," Faulkner said of the moment with the president. "But this was the real deal. I was really impressed. It was genuine and from the heart." "

I don't agree with everything the President does but when it comes to integrity, honor, honesty and doing the right thing, I choose him everytime. I remember Truman and all the President's since then and this one is more special.

Thanks again for going above and beyond for me.

Is it me, or is every other little girl named "Ashley" these days?

"Ashley's Story"
http://www.ashleysstory.com/

I wish you conservative, patriotic, God-fearing, salt-of-the-Earth FReepers would stop posting links to such caring, loving, heart-felt, and truthful videos like Ashley's and the SwiftVet's.

How in the hell is the world's most cynical, angry jackass . . . me . . . supposed to act like a tough guy when I've got tears streaming down my cheeks and I can't even see my keyboard to respond with my usual cynical replies?
