I think that they have a gal who says that Bush drove her to an abortion. Ed Gillespie hinted at this during the Dem primaries and said to be watching for it yet nothing happened. They decided to save it for their big guns as an October surprise to disenfranchise the Christian voters, just like the DUI did four years ago. They are going to realize the info the weekend before the election so that there is no time to check out her story.

However, this time the Christians might not become so poll-shy. First, they know the President. Secondly, they have seen him and heard him and know his faith in the face of terrorism. Thirdly, gay marriage is on the ballot and their issue. They won't stay home so that the gays can have their way.

I think that they have a gal who says that Bush drove her to an abortion.

They've been trying to come up with that since before the 2000 election.

It wouldn't be terribly shocking if they could come up with a woman who is a Democrat (or better yet, an "independent") who had an abortion years ago. There's no way to prove or disprove that Bush was the father or that he drove her to get one. They might even get the abortion doctor to say the woman told him that Bush was the father. Who knows?

The Democrats have a long record of lying and committing voter fraud. Orchestrating a last-minute lie to spring on Bush would hardly be out of character.

Didn't AlBore's campaign try to tie that to Bush in 2000 and it was proved false?

On the other hand there are alot of Christians out there who matured and fully grasp the concept of "I once was lost but now am found".

1 Timothy 1
14The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. 16But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. "

They do not understand what Christian means.

Larry Flynt has been trying to get the media interested in the alleged abortion story for a long time. This article goes into detail about it: The Texas Abortion Tango: The unproven scandal that could have sunk George W. Bush (Notice it says UNPROVEN)

~snip~ "Flynt’s researchers spent about three months total in Texas trying to obtain documentary confirmation. In interviews with the Weekly, sources who took part in the investigation supplied details not in Flynt’s soon-to-be-published account. They told, for example, how his investigators tracked down Bush’s former girlfriend. They say the woman acknowledged, through her husband, that she had dated Bush for six months. But she also insisted to a friend (who spoke with Flynt’s investigators) that she and Bush never had sex. She said to the same friend that she’d been in the hospital for a dilation and curettage, or D&C, which is surgery involving a scraping of the wall of the uterus. It was a common form of doctor-supervised abortion in the early 1970s. But the woman maintained that her D&C was not an abortion, but for another medical purpose. A D&C is sometimes performed after a miscarriage or in non-pregnant women who have abnormal bleeding, fibroids or polyps." ~snip~

You may just be right. Funny, we aren't supposed to care a bit that Clinton raped, had affairs galore, and had a little young tart right in the oval office. But if this is their big news, it will be treated like the most horrific thing by the media. The same media who has ignored the fact that Kerry is a traitor to his country.
