Thomas Lipscomb wrote in the New York Sun newspaper on 10/13/04 the details of what is probably evidence Kerry received a less than honorable discharge in 1972. The article details Kerry's discharge in 1976, six years after his enlistment should have concluded, as a result of a review by a "board of officers" using as their "authority of reference", sections of the US Code dealing with improving involuntary separations from the service. This review was at the direction of President Carter whose first presidental action was to pardon draft dodgers and war protesters. If Kerry would sign Form 180 releasing his military record, the answer would be known. This may be WHY Kerry will not sign Form 180.
What if Dan Rather or someone else forges a Form 180 with Kerry's signature seeking release of his records and sends it into the Defense Department. Kerry's records get released in full and distributed to the media. The forged signature gets discovered on November 3rd (oops!) and the Defense Dept. apologizes to Kerry for not reviewing the release form carefully enough. Hey, everybody makes a mistake once and a while.
Hillary has been working on that signature for weeks now.

A glimmer of light shining on the issue...... 100,000 watts of arc light are needed.
Good point.
