It's an exact quote. Both The Weekly Standard and The Washington Post have quoted him from '94.

Bush needs to use this quote on the campaign trail.

People have already heard that Kerry voted for the war but against funding the troops a gazillion times.

"Both The Weekly Standard and The Washington Post have quoted him from '94."

Wonder if the W. Post pulled their original 1994 article within the past 24 hours. After all, their online archives go back to the 80s.

I need some history here. The deployment to Bosnia was done either under or in conjunction with UN Security Council resolutions? Correct. If my fading memory serves me, the deployment to Kosovo four years later was done without UN auspices, as China, Russia, and France? vetoed or threatened vetoes. Yherefore Clinton went in under a figment of permission from NATO. How did Kerry vote on that authorization? If he voted yes he would have covered himself from criticism generated by his 94 quote. He would have approved action by the US not in line with UN sanction. Before we start jumping on this quote, let's see if Kerry was consistent and examine his vote on Kosovo.
