Drudge has that headline blaring across his page. Is he trying to hurt Bush by headlining it like that or am I being paranoid towards any media.
LOL
Very good. Very, very funny.
I hope your wit never goes to waste.
OK - It's time to lock Pat up til after the election as well.
Next we'll find out that Bush told Pat that the sun does not set in the west. I trust Pat straightened him out on that, too.
send that to Drudge, bet he won't post it.
The media taking things out of context?! Can't happen. We all know anything we see on TV or in print MUST be true. :\
According to CNN:
"The founder of the U.S. Christian Coalition said Tuesday he told President George W. Bush before the invasion of Iraq that he should prepare Americans for the likelihood of casualties, but the president told him, "We're not going to have any casualties."
Pat, have you lost your mind? This is no time to pull an "I was right and the President was wrong" arrogance! Pride defiles the man, and, if CNN quoted you correctly, you have obviously ignored that verse of the scripture!
Please tell me that CNN misquoted you. Otherwise, I will lose all respect for you. I cannot tolerate "big-heads" pretending to be "Christ-like".
This is absurd. Bush knew the consequences of going to war and that included the casualties of our men and women in uniform. I'm reading Plan of Attack and nowhere in the book did Bush ever say that. In fact the opposite. He was very concerned about casualties. Seems to me anybody could say anything and the media will jump on it as long as it will hurt Bush. Maybe Pat Robertson didn't say that and then later will read what he really said, just not from the liberal newspapers.
Yep its REALLY bad news......how can we refute what Pat Robertson SAYS the President said and what God so called said to Pat Robertson without calling him a liar...I went over there and TOLD HIM OFF... there is no direct email but there is an email message box......that SOB may cost Pres Bush the election now.....Kerry just made a speech that was so lame no one would pay one word attention to it.....BUT THIS WILL BE BIG......
heres the link if anyone want to SHARE with PAT like I DID..

What a great characterization of VP Cheney!
Well, it's 6 minutes until noon........and not a word from Pat.
Why can't that old man just shut up?
Bush appears to have been in Nashville in the middle of February 2003.
So Roberston is claiming that one month before the war started, he already knew about it??! to the degree that he was talking about 'this war' and the casulties for the United States, and that Bush was in denial? Riiiiight.
Am I missing something here in the timeline?
Really dis-tasteful picture....
Now that I think about it is is..sorry. I just think that's how Robertson thinks of himself.
Robertson, Benny Hinn, Jim and Tammy Baker, and Jimmy Saggert, to name a few, have brought nothing but ridicule upon Christians.
Robertson has gotten senile and should be ignored:

He said it on Paula Zahn. He's not being misquoted. He's not being taken out of context. This is exactly what he said.
Not that I think this will do any serious damage, but it confirms something a lot of us already knew: Pat Robertson is a shameless opportunist and is not to be trusted.
I like Pat Robertson, I am going to see what he has to say about this on his news program this afternoon...
President Bush Discusses Faith-Based Initiative in Tennessee
February 10, 2003
Opryland Hotel
Nashville, Tennessee
11:07 A.M. CSTMy attitude is that we owe it to future generations of Americans and citizens in freedom-loving countries to see to it that Mr. Saddam Hussein is disarmed. (Applause.) It's his choice to make as to how he will be disarmed. He can either do so -- which it doesn't look like he's going to -- for the sake of peace, we will lead a coalition of willing countries and disarm Saddam Hussein. (Applause.)
If war is forced upon us -- and I say "forced upon us," because use of the military is not my first choice. I hug the mothers and the widows of those who may have lost their life in the name of peace and freedom. I take my responsibilities incredibly seriously about the commitment of troops. But should we need to use troops, for the sake of future generations of Americans, American troops will act in the honorable traditions of our military and in the highest moral traditions of our country.

Not exactly the words you'd expect to hear if you weren't expecting "any casualties."
