I hate to say it but we do need a national voting ID card, done with SS numbers or finger/eye identification. This is an outrage.
Dems will fillibuster that until armageddon.
I don't think I have a problem with that. I don't mind confirming that I actually am a citizen, that I am registered and that I am who I say who I am. Can this not be done at the state level, or are the state machines just too corrupt? Don't know the answer.
My thoughts as well. A national voter ID would also ensure that "snow birds" would only be allowed one vote. Either they vote in their home state or their winter "vacation" spots, but not both. I imagine there will be many Mary Poppins voters that are disenfranchised this year.
Agreed! voter fraud is the single most dangerous element in our Democracy (actually a Democratic Republic).
A few years ago, I would have said the same thing ("I hate to say it") but now a national voting ID card with a picture ID at the time you vote is absolutely needed. The NY/Fla dual registrations, the college students voting twice, the dead voters in St Louis (not to mention the dogs), etc are a disgrace and negate any attempt to have valid elections. It's time to get the feds to move on this.
I just saw the registration figures for Missouri last night, 4.1 millions voters are registered out of 3.7 million eligible. (Not too bad I guess, since we have st louis, kc and columbia)
No reason to hate to say it, it's long overdue. One caveat: it must be free. Any fees charged to the applicant will be construed by the Dims as a "poll tax."
National Voter Card. I like it.
Once you get your wish, do you think you can stop a future Demonrat administration under the tender care of Hitlary Clinton from requiring that you produce such a card in order to purchase medicine for your children, or to travel, or to buy a car, or... or... or.......
Yeah, I know. "It Can't Happen Here".
