[VANITY] Missouri has 4.1 million voters registered--more than eligible
KMOX radio | 20 October 2004 | Self

Sorry for the vanity, but I cannot find an on-line source for this.

While I was driving into work this morning, I heard on the radio that Missouri has over 4.1 million people registered to vote--which is more than Missouri has eligible. Clearly there is vote fraud going on.

Has anyone else heard about this or was I hearing things?

I like that idea. And how about if you didn't file for taxes without cause, the computer kicks it out. That should also get to these voting frauds.

That stuff can still be erased.. Apparently they don't have Gojo in Afghanistan.

Then you'll have Dems going in there with gloves on, and refusing to take them off.. and claim they are disenfranchised when they aren't allowed to vote.

I hate to say it but we do need a national voting ID card

A few years ago, I would have said the same thing ("I hate to say it") but now a national voting ID card with a picture ID at the time you vote is absolutely needed. The NY/Fla dual registrations, the college students voting twice, the dead voters in St Louis (not to mention the dogs), etc are a disgrace and negate any attempt to have valid elections. It's time to get the feds to move on this.

I just saw the registration figures for Missouri last night, 4.1 millions voters are registered out of 3.7 million eligible. (Not too bad I guess, since we have st louis, kc and columbia)

"In the Florida Keys, I have to show a photyo ID to vote. I don't understand why this is not a national standard."

A) What prevents you from showing your ID and voting at 8 am in the Keys, doing the same at 10 am in Miami, 11:30 in Fort Lauderdale and 2:00pm in Palm Beach?

B) Here in Cook Coubty Illinois, nobody actually looks at my ID. In the thousands of precincts in which there are election judges FROM ONLY ONE PARTY, what do you think the chances are that the ID's are actually being checked?

All this national ID stuff is interesting, but the presidential election is essentially a state affair, not a national election.

I hate to say it but we do need a national voting ID card, done with SS numbers or finger/eye identification. This is an outrage.

No reason to hate to say it, it's long overdue. One caveat: it must be free. Any fees charged to the applicant will be construed by the Dims as a "poll tax."

National Voter Card. I like it.

"The voter registry is a national disgrace. Theoretically, one is only supposed to be registered in one location, but the simple fact of the matter is that people move. Within the county, communication is unneeded. " My daughter has been registered in Cook County since 1998. In 2002, she was living in the city (Chicago) whhile at school. She dropped in to vote in the city, and guess what, she voted! In her case, she only voted once, but the fact is, her registration was....and is....out here in the suburbs.

but the presidential election is essentially a state affair, not a national election.

If everyone had a voter number or use their SSN, voter fraud would be a thing in the past for the most part. I think there are many people who vote absentee in northern states and also in vacation spots in southern states.

***Personally, I want a national voter registry/photo ID card.***

I agree. Where i live, NY State, my county at least, all I have to do is sign the book in order to vote, at least after the first time I showed a voter's card and signed. If I were too sick to vote, anyone could copy my signature and vote for me.

If a national ID system ends up being implemented with a "mark" on the forehead or right hand, that is all to the good. All things are under control, and fighting against the plan of God is not what is called for. What is called for, is faith and trust.

Come on now... Democrats giving people money to register other people? That's so 1980s. Today, it's cocaine in Ohio. Or haven't you been paying attention?

Missouri - where the dead vote for the dead, repeatedly.

There was a district in Philadelpia which saw more votes than eligible voters. Double voting, immigrants illegally voting, fraud, and undercount are all possible contributors. But it was just one precinct. But it also served as an example.

Yeah, but after the 2000 fiasco, Bush had four years to 'fix' at least some (if not most), of the voter fraud problems in the country. If he did NOT bother, whose fault is that? It's been an issue I have been harping about for all of those four years and yet nobody in government seemed to be concerned enough to address it. Oh well.....

Bush will win ANYWAY!!!
