You know, it's fun, kicking Kerry. God knows he deserves it. But I don't usually go in for attempting to psycho-analyze a stranger, because "they" do it to "us" all the time.
For me, suffice to say, he's a communist sympathizer who has no intention whatsoever of having to live under any of the laws he'd pass. That pretty much sums it up.

Kerry is getting some rather unusual, but maybe not unexpected, help.
HAVANA, Oct. 19, 2004 -- A multitude of unlikely volunteers is working the phones for Sen. John Kerry in the swing state of Florida. His campaign is unaware of the support, as the volunteers do not live in the United States, but in Communist-run Cuba.

Some soldiers spent more time in Boot Camp than Kerry spent in Vietnam.

As anyone else noticed just how many of the really anti-kerry hit pieces are authored by women? This lady lives in NYC as well. I do believe it is becoming chique to be a conservative. Perhaps this explains the phenomenal viciousness of the left's campaign this year. I get the sense that they can barely contain the coming eruption, and if she blows (that is, Bush wins), being a leftist liberal will stop being "cool", a mantle it has worn my entire thinking life. The Democratic party is about to be destroyed, if Kerry loses. If he wins, we all may face destruction.

Yes. If women go conservative, liberal men go nuts. "Women's liberation" always meant "you are now free to listen to ME instead!"

Interesting, very interesting.
One question persists, however. If Mr. Kerry is the "...self-deluding...lying candidate.", does he know it when he lies? I mean, does he sit down with his strategists every day and plan to LIE about certain issues (e.g. re. Mary Cheney, "...I was trying to say something positive about the way strong families deal with this issue).
Or, is he in some pathological suspension of disbelief of the numerous falsehoods he continually plies?
I'll ask this another way. Does John F. Kerry even know that he was not in Cambodia? If he does, then we have a cynical and calculating con artist (but not an especially talented one) on our hands. If he does not know, well then, he is a very sick puppy.
Either way, he is Not a Good Man, and he is Unfit for Command, n'est ce pas?

NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDERJohn Kerry has a big problem!
Diagnostic criteria for 301.81 Narcissistic Personality Disorder (cautionary statement) A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
(4) requires excessive admiration
(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

Thank you, CHARLITE for a very interesting, insightful post. It is so spot on on all mental issue counts. My background is in Sociology, Social Psych and deviant behavior. Kerry's maniacal Projection has reached a FEVERED PITCH as of late--a true sign (as are his other mental misgivings) of a desperate, unsure, devoid of conscious, drowning person. He bables, more than not. It's like he is suffering from a medical loss of sense of self, or true delusions, or
something. And one instance of a twisting of personalities (between him and President Bush) invokes and leads to another in order to prop up that false image to the degree required that the public will
buy in. The blatantness and escalation of his Projection now constantly has me reading between his every line (to identify his panic-o-the-day,) and microscoping of every non-verbal/body language move-avoidance. The disecting of minutia that I do is *my* addiction that, try and I may, I cannot seem to turn off. He has been driving absolutely CRAZY with his nonsensical CRAZY
NESS, and more and more, day by day, the
escalation of his panic (patterns) is increasing evident to those who would be normally less keyed into the psychology of the state of his (flailing) presidential quest. It is VERY close to reaching a FEVERED PITCH--with Kerry looking like someone with some medical malady's fever, in that it's SO bad that he comes accross as not even being able to
HELP HIMSELF to not do it.
A TOTAL MIND-GAMING, SHOCK-SUFFERING LOON.

The narcissism and desperation angles both appear to be accurate. But do either of you (or anyone) think that Kerry believes any of his fabrications, or does he just believe he gets away with it?

I believe that he thinks that he can just get away with it. He thinks that he's smarter than
everyone, how else would he have the utter gall and audacity to say what he says, thinking he can get away with it--thinking in his mind that he succeeds brilliantly in pulling the wool over our eyes? The trouble is, he's too smart by half--in layering lie upon lie, combined with his braggadocious nature--he's woven a wicked, recorded web that is now biting him in his Rice Butt. So now he flails, projects, etc., in his panic on being
discovered.
Too many aspects about his miscalculated lies point to the fact that his every move is CONCIOUS, PREMEDITATED, and CALCULATED. Witness the little things that take on greater meaning in assessing his mindset, like the "Can I get me a hunting license here?" remark. It spoke volumes.
I think, in short, he suffers from great self-felt inadequacies that go WAY back from his odd childhood.
