NEW YORK (AP) - A Fox News Channel producer who filed a sex harassment lawsuit against talk show host Bill O'Reilly filed new accusations Tuesday, alleging she has lost her job because she complained to Fox about her alleged mistreatment.
A lawyer for O'Reilly and Fox denied that Andrea Mackris has been fired or retaliated against in any way.
Mackris, 33, said that by Sept. 29 she had told top executives of News Corp., parent company of the Fox News Channel, about the alleged harassment and hostile work environment to which she was subjected while working for O'Reilly's show, "The O'Reilly Factor."
Mackris, an associate producer on the show, says in court papers the executives told her a few days later to call in sick while they investigated her complaint. Since Oct. 5, when Mackris met with Fox lawyers, Fox officials have not discussed her job status with her, court papers say.
The amended lawsuit says Fox's "removal" of Mackris from her job "is in direct retaliation for her complaints of sexual harassment and a sexually hostile work environment at defendants Fox." It is a violation of New York law to fire an employee who complains of sexual harassment.
Mackris alleged in her lawsuit last week that O'Reilly, 55 and married with two children, subjected her repeatedly to off-color sexual remarks and telephone sex talk.
Ronald Green, a lawyer for O'Reilly and Fox, on Tuesday dismissed Mackris' complaints about her job status. "Fox is still paying her her full salary," he said.
However, Green added, last week Mackris inexplicably sent an e-mail to friends saying, "I'm no longer at Fox." He also said Mackris went to her office and removed her belongings without being asked to by anyone at Fox.

> It is a violation of New York law to fire an employee
> who complains of sexual harassment.
a. Did she "complain", using the Fox process?
b. Has she been fired?
c. Does the NY law cover people who sue their employer,
instead of just using the complaint process.
d. Did she ever complain while it was supposedly
happening, or did she encourage it?
Who cleans out her office, then bellyaches that her employer won't let her come to work?
Screws are loose.
Encourage it? She instigated it, at least the part on tape (if there is tape).
That's why we haven't heard any of those tapes.
Taking wagers on how much influence the DNC had on her actions. Remember she left and then came back. If things were as she claims, she would not have wanted to go back.

Didnt I read somewhere that shes real tight with Al Franken?
The Homosexual Mafia attacks the "Door to the Right"
As a key member of this New Media, Bill O'Reilly is now a serious threat to the radical leftists' civil-rights agenda, and apparently is more than the Homosexual Mafia can control. Al Franken, in his position not only as a spokesman for the Homosexual Agenda, but also as a general in his political army, went on a blatant attack of O'Reilly with his book and, more subtly, by naming his competing radio show The O'Franken Factor. Given that these latest strategies have not worked--they didn't even dent O'Reilly's ratings--Franken, according to the manager of a restaurant patronized by the liberal media, is in cohorts with Andrea Mackris, O'Reilly's staff member known for her "sexual rants and drunken propositions." Mackris hopes to publish a tome that paints O'Reilly as anything but conservative, Franken-style, in an attempt to break any remaining ties between O'Reilly and his semi-conservative followers.
Excerpt:
October 19, 2004 -- The woman who's suing TV personality Bill O'Reilly for sexual harassment boasted she had written a book to "take [him] down" months before she went back to work for him, a witness swore yesterday.
Andrea Mackris also bragged that she was good buddies with O'Reilly's arch nemesis Air America talk show host Al Franken, the witness said.
"What we thought we had here was somebody trying to hit us up for a lot of money, but now we know it's much more than that," said O'Reilly's lawyer, Ronald Green.
Green said the bombshell revelation came from Upper West Side restaurateur Matthew Paratore, who owns a bar that Fox associate producer Andrea Mackris used to frequent before she was barred for loud, lewd and indecent behavior at the beginning of the summer.
Green said Paratore shared what he knew about Mackris for a sworn affidavit in a 90-minute proceeding that was witnessed by eight people and taken down by a court reporter. Paratore could not be reached last night.
"He [Paratore] has no interest in this case, no stake in this case," Green said. "But he said what was happening here is just dead wrong."
Asked to comment on Paratore, Mackris' lawyer, Benedict Morelli, said, "It's ridiculous. We can't talk right now," and hung up on a Post reporter.
Evidently the plan was to return to FNC and sandbag O'R.
O'Reilly's just a pawn in a bigger game.
Would you happen to know if Bo Dietl is literate enough to post on the internet?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Yep. Franken hates O'R more than Limbaugh. I agree with sink. I think the most innocuous stuff is on tape with her egging him on. The more wild accusations are probably altogether false. Whether the tape still exists is a different story.
IMHO he had inappropriate phone conversations with this gal. He himself said he did something stupid. Well, stupid is as stupid does.
There may be some truth to the allegations as I heard O'Rielly on his radio show today. The subject of the charges came up and he stated that he needed to make changes in his life, RE. past behavior. I took this to be a virtual admission of guilt.
i'm glad to hear that O'R says that nothing he did "rises to the level of sexual harassment"!!! oh, man.
on the other hand, this woman sounds like a creep too.
they really sound like they deserve each other.
she managed to get barred from a bar in NYC for loud and lewd behavior. it is really hard to do that. how loud and lewd does one have to get to actually get barred from a bar in manhattan?
this world keeps getting stranger and stranger!
After careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that both Mackris & OR are wild-eyed, raving lunatics. Lock 'em up in a padded cell. Together.
