Greetings, Canteeners, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!

And a hearty Waffle Wednesday to all here! Sarge is reporting from The Haunted Armory this morning, getting ready for self-motivated PT (the 8-ounce coffee curl), online classes, and keeping the home fires burning - well, at least smouldering...

Seems like Sarge picked up part of the stomach bug that the Home Detachment brought home to share. Missus is well enough to man the lunch line again, and The Boy has a small sniffle issue, still - rotten night of sleep for all.

Well, on to some Personals:

SPOTSYBELLE: And the guest chef makes another terrific thread! Along with the other terrific threads that make up the Best-dressed Canteeners' List;

STAR/BETSY: Are you two feeling any better?

LAUREN: Do I understand that YOU did your dress the other day? It was wonderful! Nice work!

TOMKOW: WAFFLES!

Sarge will be in the area all day, so Let's Have Fun!

SARGE

DISCLAIMER: If you'd like to be on/off Sarge's Canteen Roll Call, FReepmail with details!

Good morning Tom. Of course, these are my favorites:

"Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country." -- Marion Barry, Mayor of Washington, D.C.

"I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the President." -- Hillary Clinton commenting on the release of subpoenaed documents.

Certainly worth a tagline!

Good morning Sarge. Some "stuff" is happening around here too. My son has had a cold and I've been fighting against getting it myself. I always start right away with Zicam for colds and zinc lozenges. Hope everyone is better before the weekend comes around.

Thought for the day :
"All generalizations are bad."

Childrens Impression of Love...
WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE??

"You should never kiss a girl unless you have enough bucks to buy her a big ring and her own VCR, 'cause she'll want to have videos of the wedding." (Jim, 10)

"Never kiss in front of other people. It's a big embarrassing thing if anybody sees you. But if nobody sees you, I might be willing to try it with a handsome boy, but just for a few hours." (Kally, 9)
