"He said a shopping mall. Soft target."

That could be, there is no way we can defend them all or probably find where they would strike.

Is Sadr's first name Mookie? Sounds like the name of a guy doing an act in the Catskills.

I would not write off the WMD. Read the CIA report. It states no WMD were found in Iraq. It does not explain what happened to Saddam's 1991 stockpile. The CIA assumes it was destroyed per UN directive but there is no third party confirmation. In some ways the CIA report is wrong to conclude that there is no WMD.

His first name is Muqtada but Loftus calls him Mookie.

Sadr's first name is not Mookie. I think it is Muftki, but our troops butcher its pronunciation.

In the first Gulf War, Saddam outsourced a lot of planes to Iran so they wouldn't get taken out by bombing of his airfields.

There are stories about shipping WMDs to Libya for safekeeping; also to Syria. And Iran is another possibility. Iran and Iraq are like a cat and a dog, but they cooperated in protecting Saddam's planes, and they might have done it again.

It's Muqtada, but even Iraqis have shortened it to Muqdi or Mookie.

Funny how on the one hand, no one will talk about where the WMD is, but, at the same time, no body will spill the beans about how or where they were destroyed. How to explain this???

David Kay gave an interview to the Daily Telegraph in which he said that he suspected that WMD had been transferred to Syria. Duelfer also discusses that possibility. Our satellites photographed large convoys going into Iraq just before the war but no one can prove what was in them.

Maybe no one wants to discuss it right now because if they did, there would be tremendous pressure to act on it.
