Actually I know it goes back as far as Lyndon Johnson's first run for office when they stuffed the ballot box with votes from people buried in the local graveyard. Big Joe Kennedy perfected the art and Al Gore was so clumsy at it the cat came out of the bag.
At least Nixon had the class and cared too much for this country to fight it out in court. Historians have long said that Joe Kennedy bought that election for JFK.
In the close elections they have a chance at stealing it. Let's face it though. If Bush wins soundly, the fraud will be overcome. I think he will.
