Upon arrival I was told that the theatre canceled the show due to called in threats of violence.

How is this different from that tactics of the Brownshirts in Germany, circa 1934?

That is the time when law enforcement needs to do its job.
As far as I know, no one made threats and attempted to
squelch "free speech" in the case of Fahrenheit 911. If
there were demonstrations, they were peaceful. This is
exactly WHY these people do not have the finesse to be
running this country. We endured the fluke of the Clinton
years, and suffered long with them; now I am sick of them.
They are afraid of the truth.

No discernable difference.

As I've said before, I believe these are the last days of the Republic. No republic has ever survived more then about 2-300 years. All the would be emperors in the political elites have always moved in either directly or through oligarchies. Few republics fell to outside threats. Past republics: Athens, Carthege, Rome, Venice, various French republics, Russia (1917-1918), etc.

Seems that the most stable regimes are the Constitutional Monarches, for better or for worse. Either way, between these would be emperors, the deficit, the massive trade imbalance, the social security/medicade issues, the dependence on foreign resources and the illegal invasion from Mexico and the divide between left and right, I don't see how this nation can survive.
