Drivers include, Geoff Bodine, Kurt Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Eliott Sadler, Mark Martin, Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, Jimmie Johnson and Jeremy Mayfield.
NASCAR President Mike Helton has endorsed the president.
Successful owners Jack Roush, Richard Childress, Robert Yates, Joe Gibbs, and Teresa Earnhardt have endorsed the president.
NASCAR heroes Rusty Wallace, Michael Waltrip, Kyle Petty, Bobby and Terry Labonte have endorsed the president.
Has he endorsed Kerry, or merely kept his mouth shut like all of them should?
I'm not suprised that Gordon is a brown-nosin' wanna-be elitist. Isn't it amazing how these people want to fit in so bad that they will throw common-sense logic right out of the window?

While I am no Jeff Gordon fan, he simply chose not to declare an allegiance. He has stated he is a republican. All of the people on this thread would say "Shut up & drive" or worse if their driver came out for the bad guys.
Are we sure JG is a Kerryite? I'm not fan of Jeffy but I don't want to heap extra scorn on him unfairly. I also don't see Kevin Harvick, Dale Jarrett, the Burton brothers, Ricky Rudd, Bill Elliot, Richard Petty and a long list of other popular drivers, I would be a lot less impressed with if they voted with the 'dark side'. The Hendrick connection can't be ignored by JJ and TB are voting for the good guys.

Fox has an "10 Questions for (drivers name)" and I do think I remember Gordon doing one of these and he said he is Republican. In all honesty I don't remember ANY of them answering "Democrat". I remember Busch, Harvick, Johnson, Stewart, Wallace, Jarrett, Newman all responding Republican and I'm almost certain Gordon as well.
