This is south and east of downtown Atlanta, not far from the Martin Luther King Center. For those familiar, it's near the corner of Boulevard and Edgewood.

According to local info, it's a twin-engine propeller plane that went down in a heavy thundershower.

According to AFD spokesperson Jolene Butts-Freeman, the two people on the plane were killed.
