So, in other words, Kondracke thinks that Kerry's lies are more effective than Bush's truth. Maybe 12 years ago that would have been the case, but not now.

Did Mort listen to just a little of the Gorebot's speech yesterday? I would say if any party is trying to scare voters, it's not the Republicans.
And another thing, someone needs to tell Mort we are at war with an elusive enemy that wants to see him and his entire family (along with all other Americans) dead.
Who does Mort trust to keep us safe?
A lying liberal from the communist state of Massachusetts, or a straight talking, no holds barred Texan who loves his country?

Ye, terrorism is a bit more scary than some SS rhetoric. It's kind of hard for the old people to cash their SS checks if the terrorist shut down our government.

I imagine that if Kerry should be elected, it wouldn't be long before everyone in this country will be scared spitless. I value my families safety above all other issues, including the things that I am really passionate about. Lower taxes, less government, abortion and same sex marriage will not mean a thing if we are hit by the terrorist again and again under Kerry. You can take it to the bank that the attacks will be renewed as soon as Kerry should take office. Pray that he loses and loses big.

I still fail to see the purpose of posts like this one. Someone feeling clever and wise? A troll? Someone with way too much time on their hands?
I have all the divergent opinion I need without being fed this crap. I can visit DU any time the spirit moves me.
What is the point?
I am doing everything to promote the normal rational candidate. I am doing all I can to ridicule the Bevis and Butthead candidate. I am waiting for November.
Opinions are like as*****s, everybody has on and another AH can post it.

I cant figure Mort out, is he pro-kerry? or Bush? Mort's taken a left hand turn recently. At first he was outraged at Kerry's comments about Cheney's daughter and now he's said that anyone who was offended by the comments are homophobes.

Homophobs my arse. My nephew is gay and I love him dearly. But I would never go on national TV and announce that he or anyone else is gay. I respect their privacy. Kerry respects no one.

Mort is a left winger with a touch of integrity, and a soul not yet committed to satan. He is a "divided" man, unlike kerry... who is a "hollow" man!

Mort has to pander to the liberal crowd once in a while to remain in their good graces. If telling the truth about the threat of terrorism is "scary" to Mort and others than so be it. What he and millions of others will do on election day will be to put their head in the sand, pretend terrorism is only a result of Bush's presidency and will go away in January, and vote for Kerry.
Mort, what we need in this country are more men, not more girley-boys like you.

A women told me that she doesn't like Kerry, but that Bush "scares hell the out of" her. When asked why Bush scares her, she couldn't give an answer.
She did agree that we have to fight and eradicate Islamic terrorist. She has a PHD and could not tell me what worries her about Bush.
It could be because this leader, Bush, doesn't come in the package she envisions a leader to be - she is influenced greatly by the liberal academia and elitist "professionals" around her.

Excellent way to describe Mort. He is a democrat and F Barnes is a Republican. Like H & C. But you describe it so well. He didn't drink the KOOL AID yet. Kerry probably makes it in one of his Heinz factories, Democrat Kool Aid. Or KOOK Aid
