Do hate to hear about Rusty, bless his sweet little heart. You're not used to one this size and this feisty, are you! Hope that surgery won't be required, and the leg will heal on it's on. Poor baby. :(

Yup...definately not used to the size and energy...but he is such a great big lovable baby. Even my folks are absolutely smitten with him. The docs say to keep him inactive (yea right) for 2 - 3 weeks. If he's not healed by then...then surgery.

Have to run, our fall pubbie dinner is tonight. Ohio...Congressman Oxley is our speaker. He also was at our Rotary meeting a few weeks ago. Don't you just LOVE him????

I had a wonderful picture on my profile page that disappeared recently of our President kissing a baby, and that picture was incredibly beautiful; our Dubya had the most loving, reverential look on his face, like he just cherished that baby. If I ever run across it again, I will post it. It is one of the prettiest pictures I have ever seen.

lOL! I'm glad you got a kick out of it! Thought it would be fun to put a whole little collection of him looking like a doofus in one place and then letting others sprinkle more throughout the thread.

It's VERY refreshing then, to see dansy's picture of the President and First Lady just doing something normal and now yours, and dutchess' right after this one! There's just no pretense, no pompous, no arrogant in President Bush - maybe just a little swagger. LOL! I love how Bush said, "In Texas, that's called WALKIN'!"
