Regan was the best president the world has ever seen. But WTF happened with his kids? Did Nancy drop them?! Short answer, they grew up in California.

I am not sure where your information came from, but there is no way any Officer (Captain, Major, etc) in The Salvation Army has ever made $100,000 a year. I am a Captain and my yearly salary is just over $25,000.
To: kattracks
I am relieved that president Reagan does not have to endure this.
What creeps these two are.

Patti DAVIS (so glad she didn't want to take her father's good name) can bitch all she wants about the Salvation Army. All her bitching will do is fill their coffers even more! I can't wait to make a donation to them in HER name!

But WTF happened with his kids? Did Nancy drop them?!From what I've heard she basically neglected them. It was all about Ronnie.

Interesting. One or the other of them may have had reasons
for misrepresenting the truth. I'll talk to auntie and see if she remembers. I apologize, if I have spoken in error.

The real question is why the Salvation Army thought paying $15,000 to hear Patti Davis speak was a good idea to begin with.
That pays for a lot of other needs if'n you ask me.

Why would the Salvation Army pay people to speak. I understand paying expenses, but don't these people do these charity things for free, because you know, IT'S A CHARITY?????

Is $25,000 a year that problematic to you???
I highly doubt folks contributing to the Salvation Army mind helping to put food on these Christian workers' tables.

Does anyone know of some good charities? AMVETS? Some neighbors are thinking of donating some valuable antiquesBoth Goodwill and the Salvation Army are good charities. Both sell donated goods to fund their programs. The Salvation Army tends to help the poor while Goodwill concentrates on helping the disabled/disadvantaged find work and become productive.
For a charity that spends more than 100% of what you give, try the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. They invest their donations for three years and use the profits on the investments to pay for the overhead.

Someone who would sue a charitable organisation because they cancelled a speaking engagement is contemptible.
Someone who would charge a charity for a speaking engagement in the first place is worse.
